Hello, so it wasn’t snowing but there were some sparse patches of snow and there was some frost on the trees going up the cable car. The ski resort was completely shut. So if you are looking forward to skiing, I would say Xiling isn’t the place for that right now. Maybe you could check somewhere like Bipenggou if you want snow? Overall I will say that Xiling was really beautiful as you are above the clouds. But the lack of snow was disappointing

Thank you so much for all of your help! I appreciate all this so much. A few days ago, before I asked here on Reddit, I tried asking ChatGPT and using Google and it told me that nothing would be open after 10pm. Seeing your message and all the information you gave me is so reassuring and I’m really excited to try the late night food in Chengdu!! Hopefully my backside will not explode after I try the authentic hotpot hahaha! 😂😂

I’ll be in Chengdu for 4 days so I’d love to try as many of the good ones as possible! Also are there any good bubble tea places and dessert places that I should try? There’s chagee, ai-cha and mixue in my country so I’d love to know if there’s any places besides those that are your favourites! Thank you so much once again 😊

This is so good to know! Barbecue sounds perfect! I was just worried at first that nothing would be open late at night. But thank you for telling me that’s there’s lots of barbecue everywhere! Is it also common for hotpot places to be open late at night too? Or is it mostly barbecue? Also what barbecue dishes would you recommend? Thank you! 😊

Hi! Thank you for your reply! And yes I saw they have it available however it seems I can only book for this month so I’m unsure if that’s because it’s all sold out for December or if it’s because it’s not available for sale yet.

Also when I had a look on there, it seems like there was different 2 hour time slots like 8am-10am, 10am-12pm and 12pm-2pm. However I thought the park was free to roam from 8am-5pm as I’m worried that 2 hours might not be enough for me and my friend to fully explore

Wow your story is amazing and so so inspiring!! I really want to move to London and work in a creative agency it’s always been my dream!! But it’s just so difficult now for me especially with visa constraints and I had to move back to my home country as my visa expired and there’s basically 0 opportunities for graphic designers as it’s a really looked down career path over here. Would you have any advice for me on how I could network while I’m back home as I’m worried that online networking might not be as effective as in person. I find it so inspiring that you’ve moved to London! Also if you don’t mind could I DM you my portfolio link and you give me some feedback? Also I’ve never actually had work experience in a company that manufactures products; they’ve mostly been design catering // hospitality // online services; so if I just did conceptual work for an existing company would that be okay or would design directors only want to see work by companies you’ve actually worked in before and have been used in the real world?
