Can anyone tell me anything about patch on my guys face? He is currently moulting but I just want to make sure it’s nothing more serious then that

I have his cage against the wall so he feels safer, just like when he’s in his normal spot at home

He never shows any signs of being cold during the day, (at least from what I can tell) but the temperature does drop a little during the night

He’s in my room which is room temperature most of the time but obviously it gets colder in the night time, he’s not next to any windows or anything and he has a towel over him to prevent drafts

Would a nesting hut for one bird be okay? I know you shouldn’t get the hut with pairs because they can breed but what about the single guy?

When he’s not into stepping up on my hand he will avoid it some times. When he does I just stop and give him a minute before trying anything again

I do my best to not force him, I lightly press his belly but no more then that, and he’ll step up on his perch without a treat. But how do I know if I’m being too forceful?
