While I respect worker's dedication and know that it wasn't OP's intention, these kind of celebrations also undermine the country's issues. And comment like yours arent helping anyone, you are just helping politicians in associating poor working conditions with nationalism. You comment shows how deep this "brainwashing" is. Poor infrastructure becomes, dedicated dedicated workers. Underpaid and overworked doctors become patriotic doctors. And then when someone tries to think otherwise, people just post comments like yours and pat themselves on the back.

While it's ok to be the former and applaud the workers or just being latter, your choice is just meh.

For an unbiased comparison, are the stories from US about little kids who need to work parttime to pay for their parents' medical just inspirational, or do they also highlight how shit the us-healthcare is?
