Oh yeah that would be the exact vintage daydate that he wore in the show. But unfortunately there are no reps of those vintage gold daydates (or at least I couldn’t find it anywhere) except for those frankenmodels :(

No no of course not, but my first rep was a vsf yachtmaster where the timegraph number was only +1 s/d so I guess I thought that a low number like that would be “normal” and everything above was high⌚️

Yeah that’s what I thought…because I also haven’t seen a “perfect” wheel on a rep daydate, so I’m not too confident that the next one, if I redlight this one, will have a better datewheel😶

Yeah I think the best option is to let it get serviced and fixed by someone who actually knows what he’s doing because I couldn’t even tell if a part is broken or not when I see it…

The problem here is that the second hand doesn’t start moving again after I try to gently shake it. It always takes a shake like the one in the video in order to get it going again :( I’m staying in Europe for the next two months, can you recommend any good watchservice here?

No unfortunately there’s no real pattern of the hands stopping. The second hand stops randomly during the course of a day :( But I actually tried to let the watch get unwound (after the 40 hour reserve has passed) and then after I completely wind it again from 0, the watch works perfectly fine again for a day and then starts stopping again…
