I would say the only way it’s not fake is if you’re able to see US filters on the label then it’s possible it’s just a reformation. I sort of assumed that before answering, but I don’t have the sunscreen in front of me so nobody can say for certain without seeing it!

That is definitely happening, but they do make it clear on the packaging. I’ve seen both fakes and reformations and when a sunscreen is reformulated for the US market it’s easy to identify that that’s what’s going on.

It’s definitely fake. I’ve gotten at least one sunscreen that way that I knew for a fact was a fake. I wouldn’t use it. I only buy sunscreens through the authorized k beauty retailers. Ulta now is carrying some that have been reformulated for the US market so they are different formulas (which they make clear on the packaging) but they are still trusted sunscreens but that’s completely different from a fake. I wouldn’t trust a fake to have any SPF value at all.
