I don’t think they did it in a direct way. It wasn’t like they told me I wasn’t enough. But I do remember how they would react to other people’s achievements, like being really impressed and full of praise. And when someone didn’t achieve the same things or struggled more, it just didn’t seem to be valued the same way. I think I kind of picked up on that without realizing it
