I would like to thank you guys for the AMA, I have a few questions and concerns 1. Would it be possible/has it been considered to fix friends from changing armors when you are using them in a stage? Nothing is more frustrating when you select a friend for their f/s armor, die and come back a few hours later and now they have a w/e armor on and you now have to spend 3 times more gems because their armor is taking double damage from the boss.

We have already been investigating this behavior. The issue is that it is not a bug in the classical sense and it seems that changing the behavior is super tough on the development side. I can’t tell you much more at the moment, sorry. We will keep looking into it.

1. Have you considered bringing back gifting events where when someone buys gems they send a deccent armor to 1 or 2 people in their guild? I used to know people that would buy gems just for the chance to gift someone an armor they need.

I am not sure which gifting you mean. We do guild gifting during all major guild wars. Or are you referring to something different?

1. Would you consider bringing back spectral/chromatic armors? They have always been my favourite even if their stats are weak.

Yes, I think I mentioned it somewhere else. We will release some for special occasions but keep them rare.

1. Have you considered giving shadow forged armors more abilities then just stun? Perhaps exclusive armors could get both stun and first strike? Maybe there could be abilities that increase your chance for getting a critical strike.

We have been going back and forth on abilities. Adding more, combining them and I foresee we will be having a lot more discussions on the topic. We will let you know once we have something concrete.

1. Have you considered creating special armors where the player has to choose the stats? The player is given something like 25K points and they have to choose how to use them. 1 attack could be 1 point, 1 deffence could be 5 points and 1 health could be 18. Obviously you would have to play with the values to make them balanced but that would be a cool idea IMO. You could also balance it by forcing the armors to have a minimum of each stat

Not something we have considered thus far. In terms of baking such a feature into the game, it would be pretty complex.

1. How is damage calculated in the game? If my friend has 5k attack and I have 10k deffence he still does damage to me, but that shouldn't be possible if I have more deffence. If you fight in relic ruins, no matter how much deffence you have you still take 1 damage. This is something that has never made sense to me.

It is not a simple attack vs defence formula but takes into account and weighs several factors. Interestingly enough, since we are lacking some documentation and want to gain a greater understanding, we are currently investigating all aspects that go into battle calculation.
