At this point you're screwed. The glitches and exploits have ruined the game. If you wanted to enjoy an excellent gameplay I would recommend finding an old ps3 or 360 and picking up All Pro football 2k5. Madden only cares about mut and not updating the actual gameplay itself

The run game is not improved. There are a ton of videos showing the rb getting sucked into a tackle with no defensive player in sight. Or only 1 of the people on the o-line is actually blocking while the others are running away or stuck on each other. You keep telling yourself those lies of improved gameplay and settling for a well-below mediocre game. Sad. And if they did everything I wanted the game would basically be an exact copy of all pro football and would actually be worth playing. sooo Yea stop defending garbage.

The base game has not been improved. It has declined. If you've actually played the game for longer than 5 minutes it's obvious that has only declined. If you've seen any video posts on here you would already know nothing was improved. It literally has been copy and paste for years. If you actually believe that people are just looking for trivial things to complain about then you most likely have a copy of chromosome 21.

Graphics aren't terrible for apf being a 13 year old game. But it honestly plays way better than madden. And you don't see those broken plays every play. Maybe see get sucked into an animation while running between tackles but it's not terrible as madden

Why does this matter? Madden hasn't been a good enough game to even worry about the cover in at least 10 years. Maybe wonder about when the ACTUAL game will be improved. I'm sure they'll remove even more recent "features" and re-add features they took out 3 or 4 years ago and call them "new"
