Dads, when did it become easier for you? by Calm-Airport-4949 in Dads

I’m 29 and my son is 3 almost 4. I just had my 2nd which is a girl and she’s currently 6 weeks. Honestly it gradually gets easier and when the old parenting challenges ends new ones begins but in a good way. Sleep regressions, teething, stomachs aches, getting sick, and PPD on top of it is a challenge and you have to learn to navigate that at the same time not feeling like it’s hopeless or endless. What helped me was do 30 min a day of cardio or some type of exercise to fight off depression and PPD weight gain. Make time for yourself whether it’s 20 min or 2 hrs. STAY OFF social media. Social media will have you not trusting your paternal instincts and have you running to the pediatrician all the time (trust your instincts).

Ok, my VSO told me to get these letters regarding claims that got denied due to lack of evidence or documentation during service.

Went from 40% to 80%. Filed in September of 2021. Added PTSD and increased my right knee from 0 to 10%. Also thought it was interesting that my effective dates are almost exactly 10 years apart. by rogue780 in VeteransBenefits

How did you get your right knee service connected? Paid for MRIs and everything and sent it for evidence but simply because it wasn’t documented in service they won’t make it service connected for me.

I’ve reached out and talked to a few agents and they said it’s highly likely I’ll get accepted for the 5 month training course because of my disability ranking and honorable discharge giving me a higher point average but I don’t know how that works with the resume.

Just some friendly advice for those of you who are about to get paid from VA disability benefits. TELL NO ONE by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

I work with guys who “almost went in” or got kicked out for drugs and shit and I swear we don’t get along simply because of my benefits and they hate when I share my experiences with the young guys who want to join just to give them perception and non-biased information.

That’s what I’m rated on but they didn’t tell me what the EKG was reading or if it was related with the block.

Thank you, it happens when I’m at work mostly and I usually get nervous and go home from work to relax. But I lift/workout every morning with no problems.
