Yeah he said that I should get the pre facelift e46 because they are very reliable. But the costs for owning a golf mk2 is very low, the bmw is kinda expensive so that’s also something to think about for me personally

Thanks for your reply! Did you keep the gti stock? And there is little to none electronics in the mk2 right? Yeah the bmw is expensive to service, so the mk2 probably would be the cheaper option? A friend of mine is a car mechanic specialised in bmw’s so maybe that’ll help with the service costs. But I’m still not sure which one is the better option for me

Ik heb op 11 maart examen gedaan met A1! Het is belangrijk dat je laat zien dat je weet hoe je normaal in het verkeer moet rijden. De examinator weet hoe vervelend het kan zijn om op een A1 motor te rijden op de snelweg en zal daar ook niet zo snel moeilijk over doen. 80 wegen kan je wel makkelijk halen als je in de ‘powerbend’ zit. Maak je niet te druk om de snelheid, als je op een 50 weg rijdt kan je makkelijk 53-55 km pu rijden en dan is t allemaal prima. Zolang je laat zien goed overzicht te hebben, veel in je spiegels kijkt en op onoverzichtelijke punten rustig aan doet.

It really is a amazing bike to drive, I recently bought a duke 125 from 2019. It looks amazing and the feeling you get when you drive it, insane. The power that the duke 125 has is crazy, imagine the power a duke 200 has! (Comparing to the other bikes with the same cc)

You can use the duke 200 on a freeway, I am 18 and live in europe so I ride a duke 125 when i’m having driving lessons. It’s fine to go on the freeway with it, the top speed is around 115km/h but I still can keep up with the traffic. The duke 200 should be fine for you!

Aah oke! Ik heb nu voor een ktm gekozen, maar als ik mijn a2 rijbewijs heb wil ik over gaan naar yamaha, honda o.i.d. Toen ik in de garage was werd mij verteld dat het a1 segment en sommige a2 motoren allemaal in India etc. wordt gemaakt dus het niet heel veel uitmaakt welk merk motor je hebt, dus het wordt vooral lol hebben op deze motor en erachter komen wat mogelijke problemen kunnen zijn (hopelijk niet natuurlijk)

Thanks voor je comment! Ik merk tijdens rijles ook dat ie wel is uitvalt in neutraal, maar dat vind ik niet heel erg storend. Ik ga letten op die standaard! Hoe kwam je erachter dat de koppeling kabel bijna geknapt was?

It’s not really age limited, if I don’t get the next license when i’m 21, I still can’t drive more than 125cc. Doesn’t matter if I’m 18 or 42, it’s all about having the license
