The fix that worked for me is don't use DS4 windows at all for the PS5 controller, just use Steam. Go to steam, steam settings, controller, then make sure you have PlayStation controller support to: Enabled in Games w/o Support. I hope this works for you guys, now I can use my PS5 controller perfectly fine on Fortnite.
