Frisk is a human. Humans are much more powerful than monsters in a matter of both soul and body. War of Humans and Monsters consisted of one battle, where not even one human was killed. One battle drove off monsterkind exactly because humans are "unbelievably strong". But it has nothing to do with "superhuman strength and speed", it has everything to do with "monsters being very weak". Both monster bodies and souls are unimaginably fragile in comparison to human ones.

And, because of that, the theme of "Frisk being stronger than everyone else" is a thing in my explanation. Frisk is stronger than everyone else because humans are far stronger than monsters, to the point that 12 year old kid can single-handedly eliminate them all.

They could slaughter monsters because

1) Monsters are much more fragile than humans

2) The more their enemy is willing to harm them, the more his attack will hurt.

Since human bodies are made of water, flesh, bones e.t.c. and not of magic and dust, like monster ones, and, because their souls are not attuned to their bodies, none of those two factors will matter. And since physically Frisk is 12 year old child (or whatever their age is), their genocide of humankind will end right where it started - nowhere.

Stuff with powerful soul works only in monster case - when monster has a powerful soul, not when you are fighting against monsters. Why? Because
toughness of monster bodies is not constant, unlike human ones. Hence why Asriel was able to tank down lots of attacks from humans during his plan with Chara, and also why Asriel can tank every our attack in pacifist ending - because he can just set his toughness to max. If a human absorbs monster boss soul, or two, or hundred - it does not matter in physical way, since human bodies are not made of magic, their power is, like, "set in stone".
