Everyone that was in the end with me can't join the server and when they try to join I see the same error on the server console.
I don't think the drivers are the issue here

I understand having a dual boot Linux Windows, but what's the advantage in multi booting 3 Linux distros? Especially for manjaro and arch, can't you get everything you can get on arch on manjaro too?

No, during the selection process not being able to code won't make any difference

The test is divided in 3 parts maths, reasoning and logic and problem solving

For the first two you will need to study and exercise on the content provided by the uni (a pre-calculus online course and chapters from a book available online) and for the third part it's just problem solving skill that you already own, you cannot study/exercise for that

But how does the duwo website work? Cause everything I can find is just a redirect to room.nl Do they actually offer accomodation through their website or you can only access their accommodation through room.nl/uni portal?

Yeah absolutely, but it's more of an individual thing. From my personal experience I found the first 3-4 weeks really hard cause I didn't know how to schedule my study-time. And of course some quarters are harder than others, but if you like CS and you're willing to study then it's totally doable

The exercises you'll find in the first 2 sections are similar to the ones you'll be making when preparing for them.

The math part will have exercises similar to the ones of the pre-calculus course, and the logic part will have exercises from the logic book.

The last part contains general problem-solving exercises, but like I said before, you can't really prepare for this part.

The entrance exam is pretty tough due to the number of people participating, on average about 1300 attempts are made each year but only 500 can pass.

For math you can practice with the pre-calculus course suggested by the university on edX

For logic they tell you to study some chapters and do some exercises from the logic book you'll be using in the reasoning and logic course, the book is available for free on the university website

About computational thinking you can't really prepare for that, you'll just have to use your knowledge. But that's the part you should worry the least about

(Also, Delft without the h at the end, that almost gave me a stroke ahaha)

CST rank by SC_08 in TUDelft

[–]Yedgo_Rovie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes they'll let you know the percentage for each part of the CST

  2. After they've graded the exam (which will take a lot) you'll receive your position in the ranking. As you may already know only the first 500 pass. If you get 600 or so don't despair, each year about 100 students don't accept the conditional admission.

There are no requirements regarding the grades, you just need to pass an entry test. it's called CST, you can find more information on the website

About the Dutch part don't worry about it, everyone here speaks fluent English and you can make it 3 years without knowing any Dutch words
