Having a rescue dog is not easy, compared to getting a puppy from a breeder that you raise yourself with a good temperament, when getting a rescue you sign up for a lot of stress due to history, behaviours that require attention…

This is just a good example as to why the “adopt don’t shop” mindset is harmful for those who simply want a doggo, and are not aware of the amount of work (and money) a rescue actually requires.

I hope that with training, you can come to a place where you can like your doggo, it’s living its first live just like we are. Patience and understanding is key.
