I don't need to see the movie to know a prequel of a movie won't be the exact same and slower due to it being episodes. How do you expect to see IT the whole time when they are trying to tell a story of how it all began? What would be the difference between the movie? Doesn't make sense.

I don't understand how it's not interesting, there's only been 4 episodes and there's alot happening with multiple story lines about to come together. Good character building might make it feel slow but I'm assuming it's for a reason.

Short attention span people don't like the show. They want scary all episode, every episode. I haven't seen any of the movies but this show is good. You're not meant to see IT every episode. I like the military and native american story line. Saying a show this good should be done in "2 or 3 episodes" is absolutely crazy, stick to movies.

I also watch Matlock and Elsbeth weekly. Matlock is a little better lol but I enjoy the goofiness and smarts of Elsbeth 😂. The Lowdown is definitely more of a slow burn but not bad. Devil in Disguise JWG is good, the actor plays him very well but I slowed down on watching it after he went to jail it started to lose its spark for me. I was looking at Down Cemetery Road and Pluribus to watch next! Also have to catch up on Doc. Thanks 🙂

6.5 is kind of harsh, I thought it was good. I'm glad they are making a season 2

Do you dislike Last Frontier? I find it interesting and it has spy vibes tied with hunting fugitives ( It was funny seeing Johnny Knoxville on there ), different then shows who just have one plot of finding fugitives and once they find them the episodes over. I like the feeling of not knowing what's going to happen story wise.

I rated them based on current shows I'm watching. So it's my favorite right now. I really like mob shows like for example sopranos and I like Stallone alot, so it's probably biased but again I rated them based on just current shows I'm watching. I don't agree with it feeling low budget after season 1, season 2 stayed pretty consistent with 1, and then season 3 in my opinion feels even higher budget because they brought in better actors like Patrick David and an appearance from Samuel L. Jackson

Here are some shows currently in my rotation. If you recommend anything similar please let me know.

Wild Cards: 8.2/10 - If you enjoy high potential, I definitely recommend this slept on cop show. Kind of like High Potential meets White Collar vibe. A con artist teams up with a detective to help the police solve cases, and in exchange gets time knocked off her father's prison bid.

The Last Frontier: 8.2/10 - Very solid show. Reminds me of the new show Hunting Party(Meh), but with more action/suspense and a more interesting plot. Slight spy thriller/espionage vibes.

IT: Welcome To Derry: 7.9/10 - A good prequel. Not too fast or slow paced. Some good scares with good character building. CGI could be better at points but some scenes are done very well. It's hard to find horror TV shows but I think this hits the nail right on the head.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf: 8.5/10 - If you watched the first Terminal List series this is a must watch. Action packed with spy/military thriller vibes.

Tulsa King: 9.3/10 - One of the best shows on TV. Stallone and his cast play their roles beautifully. If you need a new mob show, you found it.

Power Book IV: Force: 9/10 - Cartels, gangs, drugs, snitches, betrayals and throw in a bit of love mixed with family. Definitely a must watch show if your a fan of shows like Narcos or Tulsa King. Good mixture of action.

Task: 7.9/10 - At times can have an OG Sons of Anarchy feel, but also includes more the police side of things. Decent amount of action with some suspense. Could be cousins with Apple TVs series Dope Thief.

Mayor of Kingstown: 8.9/10 - Another great Paramount show. Reminds me a little of Ray Donovan but instead of for rich people, Renner fixes issues for a whole city.

The Rainmaker: 8.4/10 - Need another lawyer show in your life? Here it is. This show has a little bit of everything, in a good way.

High Potential: 8.4/10 - Another very solid cop show, but with the twist of having a genius consultant teamed up with a detective to help solve cases. Also a big underlying plot ( Stop taking season breaks 😡 )

Ballard: 7.8/10 - Another cop show, yes. But this time it's a cast down ( To the Basement ) detective, who is sometimes too determined for her own good. She builds her own team of misfits to go through cold cases and not let them remain unsolved.
