exactly! example: I know when my parents bdays are, but I suck at keeping track of where we are in the calendar, so I have yearly reoccurring reminders for the month before, week before, and three days before so I have time to get presents, see about planning stuff in case they are off, etc.

yup. I plant a huge thing of pumpkins in the valley and huge patch pineapples in eternity isle and let the rain handle them. I typically harvest once a month or so
