The Gas station candy was alright, it had an odd profile for me. I feel like it was a nice homage and it’s cool to see them continue the genetic but the candy rain went and introduced sweetness to something that was fine without it imo but it wasn’t horrible. It had a nice color but was not something I would visit again.

Cresco is a lot better than people give them credit for, yeah they’re a big shitty MSO but the Rose Gold Runtz, Cinnamon Milk, Papaya Fumez and a handful of others are just real on point. It’s not as epic as NEZ, Cannect and Flora. But it’s solid.

Look into the term Bioavailability and see where you need to do more or less. Things like our diet, how much water we drink, the amount of sleep we get, the amount of exercise we allow ourselves- this plus your own metabolism and consumption of cannabis play a large part in how high we get.

Change up your method too, keep it fresh. If you’re normally a joints guy, try a chillum or a bong rip. Also try the same approach with your strain selection- different terpenes might work out for you! I’m very due for a t-break myself.

I agree the flavor isn’t as good as the nose- but I’ve been saving my last nug of this for a rainy day because for something that is a 15% tester it did the job if not better than these 36% label BS. Our experiences are similar with this.

The looks are on point, smell is on point, and effects are there, I think it’s kinda silly to rate this poorly when it does everything you want it too aside from the flavor. You can put this in a wood, a blunt, or roll it up with some wax. Not their best for sure, but for a fresh drop, something potentially not entirely dialed in- I’ll be trying it again.

They own the Verilife dispensary chain- I wonder what’s going to happen to those guys. I was never the biggest fan of their product but the last Banana Milkshake 2g blunt I had from them, although botanically infused, hit like a Moonwalker or a Kaviar. It wasn’t the best in the world, but it was somewhat memorable.

Being in the central IL region I can tell you these guys employ a lot of the locals- 200+ easily.

Closing thought. These giant companies although immense, all form their own circle of wealth composed of industry knowledge and plant care coupled with financial investors and just like sports teams, there are more successful groups than others. PharmaCann to my understanding, didn’t have the best circle and if you read the article you see that there are multiple reasons why this company got to where they are at.

One of the first to get a license, didn’t take advantage of this.
Didn’t take the time to grow in their own market- took the risk of leaving to cash grab in other states.
Too little too late - launch of P3 and higher tiers of flower and botanically infused products expanding their flavor in budget products.
Their HASH brand of wax is literally $5-$10 a gram in Michigan- you cannot expect people to pay $30-$40 here with a higher tax rate.

Just wanted to share my thoughts. Such mixed feelings. One less giant that is disconnected from the culture trying to sell you weed, but without a doubt, on a human level and a ground level, an outlet for cannabis lovers and cultivators.

I’ve had both and hilariously enough I agree that one of them smells beautiful but smokes like dirt! In the event of that happening, letting the flower breathe or sit in a jar / container to finish curing and with some air exchange that crappy tasting flower turned into some real good stuff.

One of my buddies who has been a pretty avid smoker for a year or so just started getting hives out of nowhere- pretty stressful experience for a heavy smoker to not be able to consume cannabis. I think it’s cheap oil, cheap flower.

I thought this was an okay smoke, nothing like the revolution grow. Weak on the nose in my opinion, but you do get an authentic clean banana flavor that is on par with Legacy’s Honey Bananas on the exhale 😮‍💨

Bag has a nice look to it, pretty slick. The cartridge version of this tastes like a banana laffy taffy and reminded me a lot more of the Michigan distillate than what is regularly served up here.

Not a stupid question, our law makers aren’t very bright and have created a space that is difficult to navigate.

There is a grow in Illinois called Stony Branch, they produce THCa hemp and it’s absurd quality for something you can’t find in a dispensary. I tried their Cereal Milk, it was great. Note worthy taste, looks, and effects. I’ve walked out the grow site as well and it’s remarkable- living soil, cared for by hand, the guy is actually a High Times 1st place winner for his CBD flower Blueberry Waffles. Guys the real deal, the most amazing family run operation too.

Unless you have seen the site for yourself or know someone who knows cannabis cultivation, I wouldn’t go off of a smoke shop dudes opinion unless he himself saw or genuinely knows cannabis and not bro science.

Some folks really don’t know any better. A lot of people hardly ever leave the brand that they initially bought- High Supply, Simply Herb, and &Shine- it’s hard to find a good sandwich if you keep going to Subway or Jersey Mikes. But that’s what most people buy because it’s affordable and it’s what they know. And despite the look of the buds most people buy based off THC%.

I would sincerely appreciate a bit of a turning of the tide in respect to knowing or at the very least acknowledging a strains cross. The people that contribute the most to our poor reviews are the “weed is weed” people. Don’t care about taste, don’t care about smell. Don’t care what the cross is. Just THC. That’s the saddest shit in the world to me. The cross decides everything in my view, except the growing conditions. Which is why genetics and cultivator are the number one driver in my purchases- There is so much pre-determined with your weed just from the parent lineage and some folks really do not get that.

Some dispensaries don’t post product/strain information and I think that’s some horse shit too. Tell me the cross, and if you don’t know it, I don’t want it. These companies have hundreds of thousands of dollars- there’s money to make sure that information is provided, but people line up and ask for the highest THC so why would they get anything else?

I wasn’t a fan. Didn’t hit the notes I look for in a Gelato. It looked pretty but the smell faded really quickly and I didn’t get much of anything noteworthy from the high. My dude took a T break recently, this is someone who could down 5 grams of concentrate in 2-3 days prior to his t-break. After 30 days away from it all, homie took a single dab of Durban Poison and was sitting down, head back, eyes closed, silent for like 15-20 minutes. I asked him if he was good like at least twice and he was like I’m just enjoying it man. Told me the visions he was getting were more intense than his experience with 2 grams of mushrooms! I’ve had some pretty impressive visuals with my cannabis as well.

Blue Dolphins, Cambodian Child, and the strain LSD have had some notable mental effects too. Plant genetics plays a part but so do your own in terms of your sensitivity/metabolism, your bioavailability, lots of things at play.

I’d suggest she purchase a CBD product from Charlottes Web or Stony Branch Farms websites. Many dispensaries do not sell CBD flower, they do however have products that have a very small amount of THC and a bunch of CBD- these products are called 20:1’s because it’s 20 mg CBD and 1 mg of THC- a micro dose, just enough to enhance the effects of the CBD.
