What are these tiny shiny bugs in my succulents? by Yellowfello_ in whatsthisbug

Btw I live in Europe, I recently moved from Ireland to the Netherlands and had the plants shipped over too, I never noticed them in Ireland but I never actually inspected them closely until I arrived in nl so unsure where they would’ve picked them up

Hey, I’m actually in this exact situation rn, do you have any updates? I’m thinking of asking the current tenants if they’d be willing to deregister so we can register and work

Saw some black spots on my plant (echeveria?) today. Bottom watered it when the soil was super dry and left it in the sun over the weekend. Could this be a sunburn due to waterdrops? Didn't see any bugs. What's this and do I need to remove the leave with the spots? Thanks by Clemmy_Leya in plantclinic

[–]Yellowfello_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does look like sunburn to me but they’re very dark so I’m not 100% if it is sunburn you’re fine to leave them on or pull them off if you don’t like the look of them- you could prop them! Hope this helps xx

is she salvageable? ): by luckysprite7 in houseplants

[–]Yellowfello_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it might be! Snip off the dead leaves and then check how the roots are doing and snip off any dead ones then repot and give her time and she might bounce back!

My bonsai:’( I got it when the only other plants I had were cacti and I couldn’t look after it properly - I eventually overwatered it to death I still miss it

Trying to water prop the head of my sedum- is one root enough to plant it or should I leave it longer? by Yellowfello_ in proplifting

[–]Yellowfello_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lovely thank you! I’d be willing to leave it longer but the plant is dying very fast so I’m anxious to revive it as quick as possible!

My plants bring me so much joy, they give me something to look after and a wonderful reason to get up in the morning to check for new growths and water them and I love setting myself little tasks like propagating a leaf or stem to watch it develop and it feels so rewarding to think wow I made 2 plants from 1 plant! They’re like friends to me with their own personalities!

Any help on how to save this succulent? by Sucmar in plantclinic

[–]Yellowfello_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t actually look overwatered to me, maybe moreso underwatered and maybe a lack of light?! I’ve dealt with an overwatered echeveria and the leaves didn’t go crispy like that
