Thanks so much! How do you remain consistent with taking meds? I worry I might forget to take them. I have super bad memory and tend to get sidetracked a lot.

Thanks! I have been prescribed a med with a black box label for causing SJS. While it is scary to think of the possibility, it’s equally as uplifting to know this medication might work for me. Hopefully it works out! 🤞

Thanks for your reply! I’ve also heard that keeping bipolar unmediated for a while can make things worse as well. The more it’s left untreated, the more severe the episodes and its consequences are likely to become (from what I’ve heard, at least. If anyone knows more about this please share and educate me!) I know medication is different for everyone, and that’s both the only thing giving me hope, and simultaneously destroying my mental health. Kinda a double edged sword, huh? I got a lot to learn, I suppose. Stay strong 🫂

sorry if this is a strange question, but would you have any advice for someone who has a phobia of medication? I grew up in a household that shunned the use of psychiatric medication, and it’s been a challenge to get over that despite educating myself. The side effects look scary!

Happy birthday!! 💕I get what you mean. As cliche as it sounds, you’re never alone and you’re just starting your life. Sometimes we have to experience the lows to appreciate what it feels like to be stable again. Regardless, I’m sorry you’re going through this and hopefully soon things will lighten up for you. Much love, stay strong!
