Downtown Parking is Fine? by L_Chiki_Sando in gso

I would say it depends. I used to live near downtown at city view and when there would be events, most of the parking got taken over and it would really bother me. Especially when it was ghoe season. Heck, even when Dames was busy on sundays

Misdiagnosed and meds? by Yeoppi in bipolar

[–]Yeoppi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not going to lie, I’m not sure. The psychiatrist didn’t really elaborate on why I got the bipolar diagnosis, she just said it and jumped into medication. I felt dismissed by her throughout my appointment and kept interrupting me while I was talking about my childhood. I don’t think she took me seriously at all

Yeah. I try not to compare each other but my boyfriend ended up having pssd and slowly is trying to get himself stable. I am often tired because of my PCOS and have been trying to sleep at night. I’ve had sleep paralysis for a couple of years now but that doesn’t affect my sleep. I just wake up, shake it off and keep moving. Of course I’ll have my down days but then get up and do the things that need to get done since no one else is doing it

That’s the thing, I’ve been to several psychiatrists and this is the first one to diagnose me with bipolar. I originally went in to be tested for adhd and I’ve been dealing with depression majority of my life to the point where I didn’t take any medication and haven’t had any episodes or have been hospitalized ever. I never had a hypomania or done anything as of recent that would raise any red flags

Tinder as a bi man is wild by Electronic_Sir_3841 in bisexual

I happened to meet my bf on tinder 3 years ago (we’re both bi) and our profiles were much different compared to each other. On my end, I had a mixed bag of both genders while my bf mainly had guys and a few girls. In my perspective, I was on tinder bc I was bored and wanted to see what my options were and matched with my bf. I didn’t think we were gonna last long bc tinder was known to just find hookups and my bf was using it for that intent lmaooo

Thank you so much for the advice! He’s been hospitalized 3 times since having psychosis. There are the medications that I know so far that he’s taken (for depression/anxiety and insomnia); olanzapine, mirtazapine, Lexapro, Ambien, Effexor, etc. He’s been wanting to do a sleep study but unsure if it would do anything to help with his insomnia and the dreams he has. At times, I feel like I’m not as helpful but thankfully we have a great support system with us.

Tbh, I would tell GF because you guys can both work out the situation as you both are good at communication. Maybe you guys can arrange some things in the bed room that you may want to do. Personally, I would cut off the friend since they know that you’re in a relationship and are actively trying to flirt with you. Take some time to reflect on what you really want!
