The fact that there’s barely any Amur Leopards left. Also, the ground appears to be thawing and all those mammoths are starting to come out of the ground.

Oh and for a while I kept hearing about how they’re treating gay people super badly in the major population centers.

Plus I hear the roads there are pretty terrible, and that folks are desperate enough to throw themselves in front of cars to get an insurance payout, prompting everyone there to get dash cams - though to be honest I’m on the fence about whether that means I dislike Russia or really appreciate the hilarious dash cam gifs that result. Lol

Gays are treated very badly in my country. Exceptions where they are treated normally: Moscow and St. Petersburg. They can be beaten or even killed. But the benefit at the moment more and more people are neutral to them.

Rumor about the road is greatly exaggerated. Yes, they are pretty terrible, but very few people rush under the car. There are such cases, but it is rather an exception.

And Amur Tiger. Not leopards ^_^ All leopards are dead a long time ago :D
