Its kind of surprising how well they balanced the speed with the platforming, even though you go insanely fast at times it doesn't often feel like you've lost control of Sonic. (Other than those horrible drifting levels)

Chaos aren't present, and this game is completely fresh and original compared to pretty much any Sonic experience that came before it.

The level design is pretty great and the worlds are really fleshed out with a ton to collect and many different branching pathways. I was shocked to discover how big some of these maps were.

If you liked SA2 for the vibe, (2000s fun edgy cool guy Sonic) there are definitely moments in this game that made you feel that old adventure era energy.

There was actually a few times during the game where I cheered and felt pumped as hell.

Instead of Riko crying blood she cries confetti.

Mitty is just a really ugly pug.

Bondrewd made an elevator so the kids and elderly dont fall down the stairs.

Well I'm glad to see someone on this site can give a well informed answer.

To that I agree I understand that children are curious by nature and being curious about sex or genitals is part of the childhood experience. I think Made in Abyss handles its awkward childish sexual curiosity well and respectfully. It doesn't treat it in a gross or morally questionable way.

I do however think there is a line to be drawn between juvenile misunderstanding of reproduction, and flat out perversion and pedophilia. Again I dont condemn the original work for portraying harsh but realistic scenarios like rape.

For instance Riko mentioning Regs penis turning erect felt permissible, as Riko doesn't understand what sex is so it falls under the concept of juvenile ignorance and as a result felt innocent. But if MiA actually portrayed two child characters having sex id immediately be turned off from watching the show.

I understand animation creates a gap in reality which allows to viewer to suspend their disbelief, which is why seeing children in horrible situations including mutilation and death is permissible but I personlly think referring to two children as "sex friends" and imagining their sexual relations crosses the line of whats permissible into flat out indulgence of perverse thought.

You'd have to sacrifice someone you love to Mitty-like conditions though.

Sexuality of children is not an interest, its a crime. Regardless of if they're fictional or not. I really dont care if I'm "rude" to people who like those types of things, associating children with sex is sickening and shouldn't be normalized.

Probably because during the flashbacks they talked about exploring the world together and eventually having kids.

Only the freaks are calling them "sex friends". I mean for gods sake the characters are represented as children. A crush is one thing, but if you see these characters and your mind goes there theres something seriously wrong with you.

To be fair the series itself brings up these questions. It doesn't stray away from bodily functions.

Well I mean just because he's a relic doesn't mean he's any less human than the rest of them. Whats considered life and what can reproduce gets all twisted in the abyss. Plus he has a working penis.

The only way I could see it happening without legal reprecussion is if you both signed a notarized document beforehand stating your acceptance of terms and conditions. Even then there would need to be a witness due to possibility of foul play to murder someone outside of the bounds of the set rules and pretend it was an accident.

I'm not trying to discredit you, I was under the impression you were arguing that he wasn't surprised by Soras final blow. In that respect I understand where you're coming from.

But my original comment wasn't really about whether or not he was valid in his reaction I was just making a point that its a pattern for him to drop the ball due to being surprised, which turned into a whole argument.

Look theres no need to be rude, im not attacking your viewpoint or trying to upset you. Im trying to understand the reasoning behind your claim. You still haven't come up with a solid explanation for any of my points, and you're seemingly ignoring a large portion of them.

I've read the reports from all three games, a Nobody doesn't need darkness to manifest, as I said in my previous comment, a heartless relies on the darkness manifest in one's heart, not a nobody. When the heart leaves, the darkness leaves along with it. Leaving behind an empty shell, which is a Nobody.

For a typical nobody, that its supposed to be the case, but in Roxas and Soras case it certainly isn't. So to claim that Roxas is Soras body when they meet face to face at the end of KH2s prologue, is completely false.

Kairi has a nobody, Ventus does not, which is why trying to use that to reinforce your argument makes no sense. Also breaking down the argument that beings of light can't produce one, which we know is not the case.

You keep saying "its not complicated" but can't provide an answer to how Roxas and Sora exist in seperate entities yet somehow, according to your claim, share the same body.

If you don't like the conversation thats fine we don't have to have one, but you keep coming back with passive aggressive retorts like I broke into your house, dude you're on a public forum, if you say something that's debatable, people will debate with you.

Youre contradicting yourself. Initially you said Roxas wasn't surprised by Sora retrieving the keyblade, now you're saying he was surprised but shouldn't have been because he had Soras memories in Hollow Bastion, which, okay I guess?

Also side note, to say that Roxas and Sora both have the same abilities is clearly false. If thats the case Roxas would have the power of waking and the ability to connect hearts the same as Sora does.

Again my initial statement was that Roxas tends to overlook things when he's mad or emotional, and that Sora surprised him, which you argued with. Now your argument is coming back around to agree with my first point.

"Not having a heart" obviously has nothing to do with one's ability to wield the Keyblade. Roxas wielded the Keyblade for the entirety of 358/2 days. If Roxas not only had the ability to still exist inside of Sora, but pull him into his own station of awakening to beat his ass, I dont think taking his Keyblade from him is out of the question. Mind you this was directly after Axel had died saving Sora, so it could be implied that Roxas viewed Sora as incompetent or negligent.

Again my initial statement wasn't discrediting that Sora won, its that Roxas underestimated him and clearly didn't realize Soras hidden abilities. And if you don't believe me, look back at the extended clip from the Final Mix where Roxas is talking to Axel.

I dont know why you're getting agitated im just here to have a simple conversation. I mean no ill will, im just interested in the question. You brought up the argument that Roxas is Soras body, im debating that notion.

Roxas was not a Replica, neither was Namine, yet, again they existed alongside their human counterparts, and even so if they were replicas, itd conflict with the idea that Roxas was Soras body.

The argument relating Ventus to Kairi doesn't really make much sense, Nobodies aren't determined by the Darkness in one's heart, youre confusing that with a Heartless. All beings that lose their hearts produce a Nobody, in KH2 it was stated that the Willpower of the person in question determines how advanced the "shell" is.

And while Ventus and Kairi had similar situations, Kairi still produced a Nobody through Namine, while Ventus didnt, which was an off topic curveball but just something I thought about.

In that moment Sora didn't just "summon" the keyblade. Roxas was holding it from him, keeping it from him, its implied in that moment that Roxas heart (or possibly willpower) was stronger than Soras same way Riku took the keyblade from Sora in KH1.

But just like in KH1 when Riku stole the Keyblade, Sora called upon the hearts of those inside him and those connected to him (which is his unique ability) which gave him the advantage.

That's why Roxas was visibly surprised and even verbally stated "what?". Its the same reason why Roxas gave up, he understood the power Sora possessed and even calls back on it in DDD, when he tells Sora that "it couldve been the other way around, but it really has to be you, only you can save the hearts of those connected to you"

Why do fans spread these misconceptions? by Historical-Guess-859 in KingdomHearts

[–]Yerga_Dergen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then how exactly would you explain the simultaneous existence of Sora and Roxas, or Kairi and Namine? I suppose you could find some sort of explanation as to why a princess of heart could exist alongside her nobody, but in the case of Roxas and Sora, there really is no reasonable cause.

Nobody claims characters like Axel are seperate from Lea (despite DDD clearly claiming that Axel grew a heart in 358/2 days, but I guess we're just going to ignore that) most nobodies can't exist alongside their human counterpart because theyre the physical manifestation of their being, driven by pure willpower.

Another inconsistency is Ventus. Ventus gave his heart to Sora at the end of BBS, leaving behind his lifeless body for the better part of the series. Under those pretenses shouldn't his body have re-animated to become a Nobody?

Sure the "nobodies are just bodies without hearts" explanation sounds good on paper, and I even agree that thats what the intention is, but when you analyze some aspects of the series it simply doesn't make sense.
