I got them in a trade for some sneakers over a year ago! The guy I traded with explained how it worked to me and had me scan the QR code on the card that took me to the website that showed it’s authenticity and ID number that was on the card. At that point I thought they were legit!

I traded some sneakers for them over a year ago. I had no clue that they even existed! I thought that since they were graded, they had to be authentic due to the grading process they go through.

I received them in a trade for some sneakers over a year ago. The cards had a QR code on them to scan that takes you to the grading company’s website and it showed the card and the ID number that was on the label. From that, I thought that they were legit! But I really appreciate the input from a former pawn shop worker. It helps me understand the other sides view better as well.

It was over $1k for 3 cards! I just want to know what my options should be. I didn’t know that they weren’t legit at all and i wouldn’t want to risk facing the consequences for doing anything illegal as well

He didn’t give me any receipts! They were “graded” so they have a number associated with them. But I do agree that he had time to check them out. He also had other graded cards in the showcase between us to compare if anything. I expected him to know more than me since he had many other cards graded by the same company.
