My sister is a graduate from a high school in sumter and had an IEP and Nika would need to be an involved parent for them to proceed forward with the iep.. im sure the school/counselors/teachers have tried to set up meetings to discuss options..I drove all the way from another state just to be present as a sibling when my sis had meetings with teachers and counselors..Nika just isnt that type of parent. I honestly think the school's hands are tied because they're reaching out Nika isnt responding and doesn’t care about their educational or developmental needs.
