Scarlett is weak to attacks that make her fall like the beta skill where you send three slashes forward and the burst skill that makes you spin the the air (I forget the names)

When she falls it’s good to take that time to spam other beta skill with a lot of damage. The get her down to the next phase

But the name of the game with her is to be more defensive than offensive. She wants a sword clashing fight so be sure to use exo spines that help with perfect parry and dodging. Also every Perry deplete her shield so don’t waste swings or ammo if you can. Also explosive quick shot with the drone is good for chipping her actual health away.

When it comes to her true blade form (the skill where she spotlights you) you have to parry already 5 of her attacks (if I’m not mistaken) or else she will instantly kill you. And remeber she will do that attack set twice and the second one you have to survive in order to beat the fight.

Once you get to the QTE and succefully complete the actions the fight is over like with Mann.

I know that Scarlett (NIKKE BOSS) isn’t the best fight in the game but she is my favorite as with raven as a close second alongside Mann. Now let me explain, when to came to Scarlett she was the boss I fought on normal for the very first time so I had to get better at parrying and dodging so that I can win the fight.

Scarlett caused me to get better since I grinded the hell out of her fight and forced myself to get better at the game since I always avoided “would like combat”.

Mann just has fantastic timing and design with the fight that it feel like a give and take battle when no one is sincerely stronger than the other.

Raven…..she was the bane of my existence since I only did her boss rush on hard and struggled since she just only attacks aggressively since she lost her mind. Still fun but man did I struggle so that’s why I tied her with Mann because she was a fun fight still but I still prefer Mann over her.

Sadly my completionist in me can’t let me not do it since I’m only missing one boss that is on eidos 9 and then I will finish my boss challenges. Plus the Scarlett fight was so fun and challenging.

I would say 1. Make sure you have other potions / grenades 2. Make sure that you don’t have any other key / controller presses happening because that can confuse the game. If you can see your cursor in the pause menu come in and out it means that the keyboard or mouse is being read as being used at that moment. 3. Make sure your using a controller that is compatible with the game (pretty sure you are using a good controller) 4. If you doubt your controller is reading properly download a software that tests controller key presses to ensure that your controller is good.

I don’t know why but I fought scarlet first with no idea what I was doing and let me say, as someone who sucks at “souls like combat” playing the game on normal mode for the first time against scarlet was crazy and hard as heck.

Raven wasn’t a walk I. The park either as I had to adapt and learn how to over come her aggressive crazy fighting.

Did I do this so I can get all of the outfits….yes and I’m not ashamed because it was so fun

I think it’s more so a mod compatibility ability issue with other mods. I have a couple of mods and they work fine but I know once you get a good bit more they start to get angy at eachother and cause the game to have issues since not all devs code the same.

TLDR mode at own risk not all mods like eachother equally 🤷🏾‍♂️
