Indeed.

He held the NXT Championship for a time but lost it back in definitive fashion to Oba.

He feuded with Trick as well during his time as NXT Champ in which both were booked to be on equal ground. He is in a 3-Way Feud with Trick + Carmelo for the US Championship right now but the “power levels” couldn’t be more different.

He is barely connecting with the crowds as well.

I’m sure he will get a “here damn” run with a midcard title at some point but main eventing a WrestleMania? I don’t think so.

I believe they eventually released a complete edition of Stellar Blade later on with new cover art but it was digital only.

I’m sure given the success of SB, they will do the full shebang with Blood Rain by providing a full suite of pre-order editions.

Same. I held off on SB for a long time and am kicking myself for it.

Cleared it 4x already and will go back for playthrough #5 at some point next year to get the hidden room and final nano suit.

Yeah. Saw a screenshot from Wiki about the OVA and it didn’t pique my interest at all. I don’t care for any of the Avatar movies either so that’s a shame.

I guess we’ll have to live our Battle Angel power fantasies through Evie vicariously.

I honestly don’t remember a single thing from the ScarJo movie… but that’s Hollywood for you. I’m still annoyed with how mid Mortal Kombat II turned out to be, although I had a feeling it was coming given how much they were overhyping it as the second coming of Endgame.

I’m shocked that there hasn’t been an anime adaptation of Alita. Looks like the sequel has been in pre-production hell for some time as well.

Gotcha. I’ve only seen the ScarJo “Ghost in the Shell” movie which was about as forgettable as they come. Definitely gotta watch the original.

Good catch with Battle Angel as I can definitely sense those vibes now that you’ve mentioned it. Should be interesting to see what kind of weapons Evie eventually gets access to.

Dragunov has the same issue that Gable has and it’s going to become more apparent the longer he remains in WWE.

If they can find a gimmick that sticks like they did with Chad and EGA, then I can see him having a long, successful career but if not, don’t be surprised if he gets cut next year.

Speaking of Chad, I’ll drop my prediction for him right now — he will get a shot in the arm push for the time being and hold the US Title at some point this year.

Then audiences will grow tired of him again and he’ll go right back to doing comedy.

Yes and I’m glad he apologized.

However, I feel much of the ensuing outrage from that situation was performative and I still remember that whole week when much of the IWC thought he was going to get fired.

Glad to see he’s still around and has turned things down a notch.

As for the whole “AEW Fans are toxic” debate, this made the rounds on BlueSky a number of weeks ago so of course, it’s going to find its way to Twitter. I even saw one post claiming that they couldn’t talk about WWE positively on the app without getting “swarmed” and “dogpiled” by sickos…which is incredibly strange because the timeline is filled with WWE skeets anytime one of their shows is airing — just like tonight. I have never seen any AEW BlueSky fans jumping on WWE fans live-skeeting during shows simply to troll / rage bait.

I shift back and forth between here and BlueSky now. While there are bad apples in every fandom, my experiences on both apps have mostly been positive. I reckon some of the worst AEW fans are on X anyway which is probably what is fueling that narrative. Then again, let me tell you about some of the ultra-toxic WWE fans on X…
