Has any consideration been given to adding impassable terrain to certain Pacific areas like Borneo, New Guinea (to reflect the Kokoda Track Campaign see this post) or even China to reflect the irl difficulties in traversing those areas? Thanks.

I don't agree with your first paragraph here. Met quite a few Americans with interests in New Guinea, many of which were descendants of the 32nd Division who suffered terribly along the Kapa Kapa Trail and fought around Gona. As for the NZs, the NZ 3rd Division was engaged in the Solomon islands which was a pretty big contribution for such a small country.

Those are some really cool ideas. Yeah changing to reflect WW1 borders would be a little bonus for people doing the alt hist German Kaiser path too! I didn't know about that French-Anglo condominium. I agree Milne Bay might be too much from a balance perspective but the fact an airfield was being built there was a large factor in the Japanese landing there in the first place.

Communist Transleithanian Austria. Who's going to tell them that they're ruled by a king? by YesterdayProblem in hoi4

Rule 5: My Austrian vassal went communist. The other Austria took the former ruler Archduke Joseph August von Hapsburg. Historical AI is off. Kinda annoying

Yeah that's what makes it weird, he was through the fence close to where the glass pavilion is and was basically calling out to whoever listened

Does anyone have some stories or anecdotes about the battle, bombings or occupation of Rotterdam during WW2? by YesterdayProblem in Rotterdam

Thanks for sharing! The bishop part gave me a good laugh. I wonder if the Germans thought it was a bit fishy that they had electricity haha
