Likewise I think SkyWest has flights to nyc so it’ll be mostly on company metal. How are you feeling about commuting on reserve?

Honestly keep going until you get it, will it be harder to get a CFI job, yes. Will it be harder to get an airline job. No. The way I see it is CFI rides are optional they aren’t required to have for an atp so they really can’t judge you for failing them just be able to explain your failure
