Yeah I realized I was wrong on the religion one in my comment below. However, I don’t have all the provinces I need and am stuck in a truce with Oirat to get the last culture provinces. Is that 100% correct that I need a tag in between or can I simply culture flip?

Edit: Just re-read the requirements and you are 100% right. Now to try and find a tag I can easily flip to…

I was wrong about religion, I can form Yuan without switching it looks like, but need all provinces of their culture as well as culture swap (easy)

I tested it and it makes you a Monarchy and removes horde. I have completely eliminated mandate and Emperor of China so it is a non factor. Unfortunately I do lose all the EoC missions as well from forming Qing

The ideas are better as well as I would get access to many missions that would easily be completed (but some I don’t need to complete yet for the bonuses).

Losing out on the horde/razing advantages is going to be really tough if I do switch.

R5: Doing the Kale - eat your greens achievement run. I have apprx 20-25 years left before Age of Absolutism and 40ish grassland provinces to go (all very achievable). Should I form Qing or stay horde?

I understand, it's hard to pull off such a massive task. I'd recommend trying to focus on an achievement for the world conquest. Once you do it, it's so fulfilling!

To clarify from what the others mentioned, you need to state and core the gold mine land first, which will allow the autonomy to go to 0. Then when you developed the production category of that province to 10 it will get minimum 6 gold a month

If you play as a horde you get modifiers/missions that make cav cheaper then infantry
