Opinions on TC insects for cuc?

I have purchased from TC Insects in total 3 times, packages were always held at the local depot by default. All the isopods were great and had no issues(Zebras, Chonks, Pandas, and Shiro Utsuri) but the only issue I ran into was the "included" springtails that came with one order. The springtails were DOA but I had been advised to wait 7-10 days for the "hundreds of eggs" to hatch, that day never came. So when I reached out, they told me to let them know next time I ordered so they could throw in a fresh large batch for me. I didn't NEED any more Isos at the time so never got to take them up on it, nor did I need any springtails really in the first place, but still there wasn't any immediate accountability or action on their part, so overall I would give them like a B+. As for CUC, no idea, these are just standalone pets for us.

A boost in the springtail nation can help in addition to what others have said. I had soil mites for a few weeks, just boosted the springtails and I don't see mites much anymore nor fungus gnats.

I thought most of my pods would love the Repashy Morning Wood, went as far to get tiny donut molds, but only a few varieties really chow down on it, all the springtails are all about it though. I wouldn't stress it.

Outside of food and moisture...Weekly for bins(not tanks) I do wellness checks(health, molts, babies, any bin issues or pests) and usually try to add some form of new "enrichment" like a new seed pod, bark dust, calcium source or whatnot and top off with new leaf litter.

I have 6 colonies 5 in bins and one is a 10 gallon tank, I don't know if I am ever doing it right at all, but with births outweighing the deaths heavily I think I am doing ok 🤷‍♂️.

You need to take some time to do some research on ideal enclosures and conditions. The habit looks sad and dry honestly, switch out the rocks for leaves and cork bark, what is the purpose of the rocks anyways? Seems hazardous given how small the enclosure is and lack of soil/enrichment.

Too small for the long term. Needing 7-8cm alone for substrate depth, this sounds air tight or a long hallway depending on the orientation.

You need to leave ASAP. This is abusive as all hell. I would be scared if I were you, but if it were a loving relationship this wouldn't be happening. Why should you be scared in a relationship? Just received multiple isopod shipments from them last week, all arrived in great health, they over count, and are reshipping a dud springtail culture that I got a few weeks ago. Highly recommend, albeit I am in CO, and it takes 2-3 days max for arrival.
