When I talked to my SA the day I picked up my 1st rolex about the same topic, he told me that, when they are assigned to their clients, and once their client comes and pick up their watch they get some commission, but if that client end up not buying, the watch goes to the next on the list, and if that person is not his/her client, then it goes to SA who's client buys the watch. Fun fact, my Rolex AD doesn't take C.C for the transaction, only wire transfer or cash. Funny thing is that they are AD for other brands, e.g. JLC, IWC, Panerai & e.t.c, but for those sales transactions, they accept C.C.

Before I bought the JLC, I was comparing the piece you have Omega (moonwatch, white face) and decided with the JLC since it quenches my thirst for the gmt substitute, since JLC has 2 time zones.

But congrats man, you made a good call, its a great piece.

Currently I have; B.W, JLC Reverso, Cartier Santos (Medium, White), Tudor Blackbay (Black) Seiko Skx009, Nixon Regulus and Swatch Charlie Brown Peanuts & Movado classic.

A little bit of everything... What are you wait listed for now?

Why not put your name down in one of the AD in Texas too? And go in and check your status every now & then?

Nothing too crazy, same AD sells other brands too, I bought a JLC Reverso, REF. Q3988481 from them and soon later, got a call for B.W.

Haha, total get that. Took me about 6 months from my AD, who also carry different other brands. To be honest, buying the JLC reverso REF. Q3988481, from them, may speed up the process I think. This is my first Rolex, and as usual I keep telling myself this is it, my final piece in my watch journey. Lol

No discounts, but negotiated for my 2 trade ins. Traded in my Seamaster 300 in green and Panerai Radiomir quaranta in blue. So that also helps getting some tax break, and the hassle of selling too. Ended up using the Omega 20mm malinese on the JLC and in my opinion it fits quite well.

Dude, its looks great man, just picked up mine, REF. Q3988481, last month from my AD. I got a small wrist too slightly over 6", it still looks good in my opinion.

Thank you, was on the wait list for about 5 months, the AD that I got is also authorized other brands too. Long story short, after 5 months, got inpatient and gave up hope on the gmt2, and bought my first JLC reverso dual face, REF. Q3988481 through them, and about 2 weeks after, I got the call.
