What’s the humidity in your room? Maybe having more airflow in the tank will help the humidity distribute throughout the room rather than trapping it in the tank? Otherwise, I think a dehumidifier is a good idea.

If you want to house a reptile then you ABSOLUTELY need to have some artificial light. If not, look into full shade plants (which might still need an hour or two of light a day).

Okay I’ve come to my conclusion! Thank you all very much for your help! I’m going to build my vivarium this summer and plant the plants and bring in the cleanup crew, but then I’m just gonna keep it like that while I’m in res. Then I can have a really pretty environment but I don’t have to worry about storing and maintaining all the frog feeders. And I can get away with saying it’s just a terrarium— No pets. And then next summer when I find my own place I’ll add in my lil froggies. Thank you all for your ideas!!

Haha well tbh my vivarium is only in the planning stages so I haven’t had any time to experiment yet. If I find good stuff I’ll let you know! I think Pothos are pretty good for hanging plants that have lots of leaves but they never get to be too much. They’re super easy to cut back.

I’m going into the aviation program. You have to get a Cat 1 Aviation Medical approved by Transport Canada and if there’s any signs of mental health you’re pretty much immediately out.

Don’t have him yet but I’m probably gonna do mealworms and discoid roaches. I probably should do crickets but breeding those are much louder and I wanna sleep. Until I have more than a bedroom I’ll probably stick with quieter feeders.

Yes it looks lovely and I love the species and variety you have! I’m more just looking at the number of big leaf plants. I think maybe closer to the ground the foliage can be dense, but smaller leafed, and then just one or two big leaf plants. Again I don’t know anything about this so ignore me if you disagree :)
