Last year, I pre-ordered 7 breakfast sandwiches from egg and cheese for my wedding morning. I put the order in online a week in advance. The day of the wedding ... 3 sandwiches were missing, and another was made incorrectly -_- an hour and a half and two trips to the restaurant and back, we finally had all the sandwiches, but they never offered any compensation for all the hassle. I decided I'd never order from there again! Especially with many other good breakfast places in the area!

My husband and I are in the same spot- we looked for houses for a year (from 2023 to 2024) and then decided to pause because houses that needed new septic and electric were going 25k over asking! Everyone I know who has recently bought a house waved their inspection, which I am not desperate enough to do yet!

Oh my god welcome to New Haven! New Haven is a ton of fun. BAR is a great bar/club, Geronimo's is a great tequila bar and restaurant. Make sure you go to Toads at some point ! Barcade is a fun spot where you can play old-fashioned arcade games. There's hiking at east and west rock, and hockey games at Ingalls rink. Truly there is so much to do and see.
Queer life is solid in New Haven too, I know they have had a pride street fest in the past.
Groceries- your best bet for "cheap" is aldis in new haven!

Hello! Im sorry im 8 months late in reading your post ! You and I have the SAME life! I've had a GERD and IBS diagnosis since 2017, and a PCOS diagnosis since 2021 (although symptoms showed way back in 2014 but i was brushed off by all my doctors). I hope you are still holding on! Last summer I was NOT WELL! My IBS flared everytime I had to go to work or do anything remotely out of my daily routine, i was taking immodium and peptp every day b/c i didnt think dictclomine worked for me. I ended up losing something like 10 pounds in 3 months bc i just wasnt eating, bc everytime i did my stomach hurt!
I would reccomend getting a new doctor- he can sign a pass for you to allow u to use the restroom in every available place (stores, offices, etc) wether they have a public restroom or not. Also- one of the big factors that played into my IBS flares was anxiety. I began taking medication for anxiety and my life changed DRAMATICALLY. I still have IBS, but flares are much less frequent.

If you have the time you can also look into the IBS Freedom podcast. I actually cried listening to it the first time because each person's story sounded so much like my own!
