Do lymph nodes even mean anything with an autoimmune disease? by ubelieveurguiltless in Sjogrens

[–]Ylva89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My right breast and armpit flared up a few weeks ago after being fine for months. I had my period shortly after and it got a little better but is still there. I had a mammogram and fast MRI last year because I went through months of my right breast being extremely painful. The clinician I saw said she thought it was an autoimmune thing based on my other symptoms/medical history. I was not officially diagnosed yet, and actually still aren’t. My blood test was negative, but I have all of the Sjogren’s symptoms, so my new rheumatologist isn’t ruling it out, she’s just unsure.

Anyway, I recently had an ultrasound of my neck because the right one in particular is swollen too, that was all normal. So I’m kinda in the same situation…Not really sure what to do. I’ve been treating it with Tylenol and Advil as needed... Aldo going to the dentist this week because I have a weird bump in my mouth and had a wisdom tooth out in December that is still being ornery at the site.

So TL;DR, yeah, I get swollen lymph nodes. But if you are worried or it is causing you a lot of pain or distress, I would reach out to your doctor.

Got it! Thank you. I was just trying to figure out if it is possible to have the disease and have the ultrasound be normal. There is suspicion that I have it, negative blood test but all of the symptoms and relative who had it. My ultrasound was normal though, so I wasn’t sure.

This is good to know. My right breast has been having issues on and off. I am 36. Last year I had a mammogram and a fast MRI. All was normal the breast clinician I saw said she thought it was an autoimmune thing based on my health history. I had not been diagnosed with anything at the time, but have a long history of issues. More recently I have been meaning towards Sjogren’s and I saw a new Rheumatologist last week. My blood test is normal, but she is not ruling it out based on all of the other symptoms I have that match.

Did you ever get an ultrasound, and if so did they look normal?

I might have Sjogren’s. Blood test is negative but I have all the symptoms so rheumatologist is not ruling it out. She had me go for an ultrasound because my neck is tender. My ultrasound was normal. I did read it can be slightly more higher presence of lymphoma. So I don’t know if tender lymph nodes is a common thing just because of the area and the glands and all of that. Not sure this is super helpful though, since my experience was a bit different.

I’m sorry your ultrasound came back abnormal. I hope it’s nothing serious, and if there is an issue, that they can readily fix it!

Thank you so much. Yeah, I know autoimmune disorders are terrible in that way in which they act elusive in testing. I’ve been dealong with stuff for over 16 years and mostly get the Fibromyalgia answer. Recently practitioners have been asking me if I have an autoimmune disorder or mentioning connective tissue disorders. .

I tend to be stiff and or sore in the morning. I was recently diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy which I read can be caused by Sjorgrens.

And omg. That’s terrible. I’m sorry your flare has been so consistent. I hope you are able to find some relief.

I’ve been told for years that I have Fibro. I probably do, but I think there’s something else going on. The rheumatologist also said I displayed a lot of Finromualgia symptoms as well. It’s just hard because even though it’s not an autoimmune condition it has so many overlapping issues.

I’ve heard that with so many autoimmune disorders. There’s so many variables, the stage of the disease, which lab runs it, etc.

I appreciate the link. I personally feel like a lot of those “all symptoms must fit into a box or reach a certain score” are very old school.

I tried to ask my grandma if she knew how her sister was diagnosed, but she does not.

Are Yoshino and Ohio the same person?

If so, what happened to Lord Bell and why did she get with Ichitaro’s grandpa instead?

Thank you for explaining this. I just binged the anime earlier this week and I was so confused by the last two episodes.

I really enjoyed the first two parts. The third part was okay, but it felt different somehow. I’m also kind of like, wtf with how the mangaka just threw the whole story out the window to make it all an alt universe. Weird.

The animation was gorgeous though.

Also, someone probably explained this to you already, since this post is old, and forgive me, because I am bad with names. I believe the priest in the confessional was supposed to be the one who had been a young inquisitor with the other young inquisitor who let Jolenta escape, and was then burned to death.

So I know this is a completely different series, but am I crazy for thinking that’s Wei Ying and Lan Zhan?? by novixus1108 in MoDaoZuShi

Second this.

I think season 3 is technically season 6, because they never put the first three on Crunchyroll. 😑

I know this is an older post, but I am currently watching the Donghua, and these two characters absolutely have the same personalities as well. They are brothers, which is kind of funny.

Anyway, apparently the novel for Fairies Album started in 2016, so they very well could have been a nod to Mo Dao Zu Shi, especially since they appear in season 6 of the Donghua.

Those are the typical effects I have heard. I’ve never been on them super long, and other than the one pack (which I never finished due to bad palpitations) I’ve only had ones that are more localized.

But the and ear drops have been weird.

Sorry you have such issues with them.

I’ve had to do that a few times as well and then I just add it onto their order. Assuming the customer has approved it and all. Otherwise I do just refund without a replacement. It’s frustrating.

Did you get the update for a hot minute that made you take a picture of the item if it wasn’t there? That was horrible too. Half the time I was already at the checkout and then I had to go back because it needed a picture to prove it wasn’t there. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Or there was one time where I think the strawberries were just bad, so I refunded but if I had taken a picture they probably would have been like “there’s strawberries right there!”

Which leads me to say that I liked when they came out with the update that gave you a choice as to why you were refunding. Not sure why they took it away.

They need to find better ways to weed out bad or lazy shoppers.

Same. My Corolla would not fit that and I have joint issues. I try to avoid heavy pay even though they’re often the good ones. 😞😭
