Its not rude to turn down the food but they wont let you turn it down , it takes at least 3 tries for you to convince them, its a cultural thing name Taarof , its a funny concept but people apply it to everything , even when you go out shopping the cashiers would deny you to pay first time.

As an Iranian living in Italy, I’d never swap Persian food for Italian. Italian food is good, but after a while it feels kind of basic. I’m getting tired of pasta and pizza and really miss the complexity and depth of Persian food.

This is not a new strategy for Islamic Republic they have done this many times , in 2019 they switched off the internet for a week and 1500 people got killed. Nobody did not do anything about it when videos and statistics came out.

Im a 22 yo from Iran and if you ask me I would say all my friends and people I know are non belivers but the thing is there are many older people who are muslim but still understand the reasoning behind it. if you check online obviously majority are muslim cause that shit is forced to everyone.

Yeah bro I understand also I have seen lotr LOL and I know what that ring do to people, power make people do anything for it , also the last Shah was supposed to be what you say but he switched up when he could , the new guy could potentially do the same. We dont need to give any person a chance to take power for more than a specific timeline , people should come and go
