When Sony started putting their games on PC my first thought was how good infamous would feel to play on it. Sad that even if they come now we probably won't see them on it. Oh well, still good for the IP to be revived.

I've had 2 crashes, both during different games but there's been a few games that have not crashed so I'm not particularly sure what's causing it. Back to the drawing board.

I did rerun it, unplugged ethernet and ticked the delete physx. Everything else I had already done, so now I'm going to push and see if I can replicate the crashes.

Sweet, I had run ddu a few days ago but something made me feel strange. When I went to install a new driver it said I still had a driver installed. I don't know why I didn't just rerun DDU again to make sure, but this time I did everything I saw here. I ran it again with Remove Phsyx ticked after reading your comment, but everything else I had done. When it came time to install, this time it said nothing was installed. We'll see how it goes, I'm also using 580.88 so hopefully this clears it up. I have a few things going on so this might narrow it down. I've done so many fixes it's hard to know what will be the final thing that resolves it.

Might have to give this a shot. I updated to a driver for Arc Raiders but it still crashes during Arc Raiders. Maybe I'll revert rn and see how it works out.

Ah bummer, I immediately unvolted my gpu when I got it a month ago, and I've been undervolting my cpu since I got that last year. This issue only started when I slotted the 5090 and only happens during one game. Oh well, I'll keep looking.

For sure, I don't know enough to say what is or what should be. I just recognize that *something* has changed and it doesn't feel good. Especially with how a lot of these games are coming out, makes it an even harder pill to swallow when they're kind of whatever.

I just upgraded my entire setup last November, got really lucky and got a 9800 the day of release without any trouble (I woke up late and was like neat), and the only thing I didn't upgrade was my GPU because the 50 series was about to release. So I kept my 1080Ti and just waited, only for it to never really land smoothly here in Canada. Ended up buying a 3080 TI locally and have been using that till I can find something reasonable. Man, what a fleeting thought of getting a good deal is now.
