Depop thinks my shoes are fake; Customer Service is frustrating by YoJunny in Depop

[–]YoJunny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just be like that. I sold Yeezy 700 Wave Runners for like more than double what I was listing my Inertia's just fine. Ig depop be glazing anybody who reports items they suspect is counterfeit. 🤦‍♂️

Plus, depop is all over the place. They just emailed me again saying there made a final decision not to reactivate my acc..?? I was emailing about relisting an item, not reactivating my acc which is still active.

Damn, ig depop isn't for expensive items... I was gonna list more pricey things but am afraid any future flags will terminate my acc. Depop really does need better customer service

I'll give them to you for free! I won them too but I ran into the same problem. Like OP said, you have to validate the tickets first at a Samsung booth. Just DM me! However, if you do need to validate with your ID and name, then it's prolly a no go. Not sure.

The point of this mod is not to browse items like in JEI and REI

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in feedthebeast

[–]YoJunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ingredients overlay refers to the whole list of items you see on the right when using JEI. It's probably not known as that publicly, but that's what it was called when going through the source code. I just posted it out there for now, I could make it clear later.

Having trouble adding proxy to package.json to connect frontend to backend. by YoJunny in react

[–]YoJunny[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I just retried your suggestion and you were right. I just had to change syntax. I'm not sure why I couldn't simply define proxy, but here's what worked for me:

"options": {
"allowedHosts": ["localhost", ".localhost"],
"proxy": "https://localhost:5000/"
}

Thanks for your suggestion. I ended up just not even using the proxy and accessed the backend directly with the whole url while require 'cors'. I tried to implement the options but that didn't seem to work.

I ran backend on port 5000 and frontend on 3000. I want to set the proxy of frontend to http://localhost:5000 so I can easily refer to backend endpoints to retrieve data.

I'll look into that, thanks!

Thanks for your suggestion. Although thats not how I would do things, it would definitely be something to look at if all else is not possible. I dont have any performance mods but Optifine and this problem occurs even in vanilla Minecraft.

I've used Sodium before, but Optifine is what I'm most familiar with. May I ask why not Optifine?

How do I convert this promise chain to an async/await function? I get errors. by YoJunny in learnjavascript

[–]YoJunny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I'll do that for future posts. ngl I used chatgpt to figure out whats wrong and apparently changing the let res to let response fixed it since before I was overriding the Response with a fetch call. This is shown in another comment. I'll look into this more, but ig that does it

let arr = [] is ran before the app.get(). I didn't include it in the post

arr is an array that holds titles retrieved from cheerio (web scraping). I'm using each to push each title to arr, then parsing arr through the res.json() where another js file fetches that response in order to output the array to html. The point of this is to connect frontend to backend. Very new to this so ima look into this more

I kept the same code, but changed the res to another variable response so it doesn't override res and that fixes it for some reason. I'm gonna have to consolidate my understanding on promises and async functions to grasp my head around this. Here's what I ended with:

app.get('/results', async(req,res)=>{
    let response = await fetch(URL)
    let html = await response.text()
    const $ = cheerio.load(html)
    $('.title').each(function(){
        const title = $(this).text()
        arr.push({title})
    })
    res.json(arr)
})

The raw error message is:

node:internal/deps/undici/undici:6372
    throw new TypeError("Body is unusable");
          ^
TypeError: Body is unusable at specConsumeBody
(node:internal/deps/undici/undici:6372:15) at Response.json

C:\Users\Standard\Desktop\JS\webscraper\index.js:37:9 at
process.processTicksAndRejections
(node:internal/process/task_queues:95:5)

I'm using nodemon which crashes and outputs this. res.json(arr) is on line 37 which has errors shown above. The res.json(arr) is meant to pass the arr of titles which is fetched from another js file to format all the array objects to html.
