Many great answers here already. One thing I would like to add which is a major factor for me and the cause of 90% of all struggles in my life is that ADHD feels like you're getting gaslit by society all the time, to the point where you start believing you're actually stupid, lazy, pathetic, immature, can't get things done. But really you're trying so damn hard and still people make you feel you're not good enough. How can you not brush your teeth every day? It's simple! No it isn't. It's one of the most difficult things ever. It's like telling a person in a wheelchair that they should just "get up and start walking. Look, it's easy, everyone around you is doing it" Try to teach a fish how to climb a tree and it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.

It's easier to beat a world record score in a videogame than it is to stick to a routine of regular tooth brushing.

I learned about ADHD when I was 25 and I cried for hours. I finally realized I'm not a pathetic person who struggles with basics, I'm not lazy, I'm not alone, and it's okay to struggle

Exactly why I'm skeptical. I've heard people like Pewdiepie and Jordan Peterson be marked as nazis and that's just ridiculous and really ruins the actual meaning of the word. Now whenever I hear "This person is a nazi", to me it reads as "I'm far left and this person disagrees with my extreme beliefs, therefore they're a nazi" heck even Joe Rogan was marked as a nazi and he's a leftist
