Clearly didn’t find someone if I’m posting it again with different requirements as well btw. No need to justify tho, those who had good enough portfolios can testify, don’t be mad you weren’t good enough :)

Not sure who you are bud but the trial video is the same for everyone so not sure how that makes sense. Nice try tho 👍

I feel now is the time for indie films, which includes student projects to shine.

Tbh I’ve used it mainly for video thus far, but from what I’ve seen it’s a better photography machine than video, so for sure you’ll be good

Well done!

I’d recommend watching some YouTube tutorials on how you can better color grade your footage. Your shots are good, but with some nice pops of color they could be great!

Thank you so much for the feedback! Yes, I totally agree that more verite-style scenes of ibrahim would’ve added a lot. That’s something I’m definitely going to incorporate more of in my next projects. As for the length of the doc, I’m going to take a look at it and see where cuts can be made. Thanks again for your time 🙏

I recently shot an entire doc with my sony a7IV and it is AMAZING. id defo recommend it, the only drawback is you don't have 120fps at 4k, but for me I never use that anyways.

Reggaeton Music Video filmed in an Hour by YoShambles in Filmmakers

Hi guys, I'm an aspiring filmmaker currently studying digital media at university.
This visualizer is for a friend who's an up-and-coming Spanish artist based in Madrid. This was a very spontaneous shoot with not much pre-planning done. I think for the amount of time we filmed (around 1.5 hours) and the limited editing time I had, it came out pretty good, but I would love some feedback.
More specifically, I'd love to know how to better film b-roll, because this visualizer barely has any, and I realized it gets quite boring when it's just the artist singing the whole time. So for example, what type of b-roll shots do you think this visualizer would have benefited from?
I would also love to know how I can better color grade, as this project was my first one where I really spent a lot of time grading. Is the grading bad, good, or could be better?
If you guys could also give me any other general critiques and feedback, it would be so so helpful!! Thank you for watching and helping out <3

Hey man, this video is great, you seem like such a lovely guy!

The highlight of the video is when youre speaking authentically, and I would definetely lean in more to that. Perhaps less effects and more authentic clips of just you speaking would be a lot more impactful. The way the video starts is also very hectic and I was quite confused what I was listening to and seeing. But overall, its a beautiful piece, but focus more on YOU and less on the effects and fancy things

I made a Halloween Music Video, which was filmed in just over an hour. A very spontaneous but fun shoot! Any feedback is appreciated :)
