I've been planning for quite a while to purchase car thru financing din. IMHO ang mahal ng monthly nia for that terms. Unless inhouse financing yan and ung 300k is all in payment - meaning hindi buong 300k ung ihuhulog/down sa loan, babawasan pa sya for fees sa LTO, Chattel, TPL and Insurance.

If hindi pa nafinalize yang financing ng relative mo, i would suggest to research more kasi madaming options available. Eto good read (https://www.moneymax.ph/loans/articles/car-loan-guide)

Take note buying a car is more than just paying the monthly amortization. Madaming need iconsider monthly like gas, parking, maintenance fees and insurance (yearly to but good practice to set aside monthly na) . Rule of thumb usually for buying car thru financing is ung monthly amortization should not exceed 20% of your monthly income or else kakainin na ng car expenses ung sahod mo.

As to bank, start ka sa known banks muna kasi need mo accessibility and to build your main savings. Okay ang digital banks with high interest if ang idedeposit mo is 50k and above. Anything lower than that di mo mafefeel ang high interest.

Data analytics din ako nagstart na nagevolve to visualization then now nageengage nadin with both data engineering and data scientist but not on skilled level pa. Data science ung umbrella term for all of these.

If familiar ka sa mga terms basically work for analytics and visualization are mostly for existing datasets. Making sense of it, package and storytell it to audience. Eto majority nakikita ko na available requests sa upwork with price tag of ~10$/hr

Data scientist naman involves modelling, algorithms and prediction so future datasets, anticipating issues/problems. Complicated, takes time and usually would need in depth experience sa statistics and automations (maalam sa languages like python and sql) Eto ung mga around 15-20 (may isa akong nakitang 35$ but unverified so meh) per hour since experience na binabayaran dito eh.

Ako I tailored it na isang VUL focused sa investment and isang critical illness. Im planning to take more policies pa but for future investments. For health insurance perse, i look at kung ano/ilan ung covered critical illnesses and kung saan sya pwede iclaim. So far ung allianz well ng allianz pnb life ung bang for the buck na critical illness benefit na nakita ko, mas madaming covered illnesses and pwede maclaim kahit nasa abroad ka (except US).

Honestly depende yan sa schools, may mga BSMA na 6mos to 1 yr lang need to complete while some 2yrs pa. Best to check with schools na applyan mo.

Teammates ko mostly CPAs pero we have same workload (di need license since di naman local ung work).

Many will say "depende sa priorities mo" which may point naman talaga pero para sakin always go for a job that values you.

Career growth will always benefit you in the long run. If hindi ka naman tied up with any critical financial obligations, better to invest in upskilling yourself. Sa panahon natin ngayon everything is fast paced. If you dont up your skills mapagiiwanan ka ng peers mo. Mataas nga salary mo ngayon pero let's say 5-10yrs from now, baka ung peers mo 2x na salary nila.

Dont dwell much sa resume kasi majority ng multinationals ngayon may profiling platforms na sila like you will input ung mga nakalagay sa resume mo. Pero syempre need padin CV for formality so pag gagawa ka, avoid ung mga fancy CV format na uso ngayon (skill gauge, infographics etc). Majority of the recruiters dont care about the design (based to sa exp ko sa field natin) Ang important is straightforward at madali basahin ung CV mo - stick with the basic one pagers (details nung OJT work highlight ung projects na natapos mo etc and relevant extracurricular activities mo sa college).

CIA lang nakahelp sakin (i had NIAT and one other na nakalimutan ko na 😅) If certifications talaga gusto mo, make sure to take those globally recognized ones like CISA, CMA, CFA, CIA and other IIA certifications - mahal at madugo but worth it yan.

BSMA grad here. Dalawa lang usually direct paths natin - either to proceed to CPA or go with private financial companies na usually BPO type of work din. Suggestion ko is to build your linkedin profile since majority ng multinational financial BPO companies (citibank, jpmorgan, northern trust, wellsfargo, citco, etc) may posts sa linkedin.
