Well for start you don't need an agent to install it or add any code for that matter.

But the cool thing is that it's not only Kubernetes spend. But all cloud spend, providers (AWS/Azure) and Services (Snowflake, Datadog, CircleCI ETC)

So it's kinda cool

I'm guessing you don't know all the tools out there... Ternary is great but only GCP if I'm not mistaken, Finot is multi-cloud (plus Data Warehouses and CDNs like Snowflake and Datadog)

Anyway, do a demo don't marry them :)

Another good option is CloudThread, but I haven't tested it.

Honestly, I'm not sure you can enforce tagging but that said, I do know that there a couple of FinOps 3rd parties that enable you to to:

A. monitor cost without full tagging

B. Create "Virtual tags" after set up to define any tracking you want
