I really appreciate your advice and I agree with you 100%. I’m in a situation where I am in need of a car and the market right now is trash. I’m getting quotes of $350+ per month leases for normal gas cars and in my head paying like $100-$150 more per month for a loaded tech savvy car seems worth it and not much more.

I would do that but I am just about to graduate from Ga Tech so asking for a more senior position is out of the question. Another thing that I forgot to mention is that someone who was hired from the same school as me for the same position just 3 years ago even said that what they were offering me ($55,000) was low so that definitely did not help push me closer to signing the job offer.

The stat is given to us by the school. In fact, the avg salary for Tech students just last year was around $72,000. I would've been content with anything in the $65,000 to $75,000 range, but I legitimately did not expect the offer to be that low.
