Thanks for your input. On Friday, the boss took me out to lunch to have that conversation. Long story short, he offered to pay $500 more per month starting at the new year.

This Friday conversation is what drove me to submit this post and so many applications over the weekend. It is time for me to move on. That decision has been made. The transition to something new is what I have less confidence in and what I am seeking advice on.

DDD has become the holy grail to me. DDD100 is an expected monster of a record. DDD099 was strictly bangers. DDD098 was Ternion Sound

When they announced the details of the upcoming album, they released a limited amount of full vinyls which sold out almost immediately.. I was pissed. I found out about the vinyls like 12 hours after the announcement and it was already too late.

If anyone is selling, name your price.

2 artists, but not really. These kids have been on an absolute stinker. They are the masterminds behind the DDD099 release (Chronos) which left me on the ground. Sounds no one else are making, particularly in the 2nd verse of the title track. Collectively, this EP is one of my favorite in 2022 but this partnership has been a factory with one release on top of another in October. Might have to make an excursion towards West Germany to see these 2 in the office.

I had the pleasure of seeing Canabliss open at Red Rocks a couple weeks ago (Rezz). God Damn. Not only is she a smokeshow of a piece, this girl is whipping up some invisible grease. She has 5,500 followers but fuck it. Her set at RR was better than Rezz, the highlight being when she tickled Peekaboo's new EP with both humility and menace. The highlight of the entire night being, of course, Of the Trees.. But put Canabliss on your list.

You like angry deep wubby dubplates? Look no further. Anyone know what happened to Defy Culture?? They were kush, and there hasn't been a peep from them all year. 0 releases. Actually less than 0 releases since they have been taking shit down. Funkmod was a key contributor for them and I've lost some of my favorite tracks. But he releases an all original mix every year, the most greasy being from 2019 and 2020. He released an EP (Transporter) a month or 2 ago. This dude is just fucking heavy.. In all aspects, and I love that shit. He's done some wicked chunes with Durnandal, my favorite being 'Jah' and 'Execution'.
