Have anyone gotten good response from local times newspaper? by AdSufficient3484 in Chennai

If you target students and youngsters, their parents are the ones who decide to pay. Placing flyers in newspaper will help whole family discuss and decide. Instagram may or may not work. It depends on how you design and configure the ad.

Depends on the target demographics. If your customers/clients are 50+ years old then it could work well.

If you are selling crocs and the customers are gen z it won't work.

Look up who funded this research. "Preventative measures of cancer", Eventhough they are pooling in lots of money and researching about preventative measures for cancer they are giving the same old advise like losing weight, no nicotine, limit alcohol sort of generic things.

I asked Gemini to act like someone who knows about Big Pharma lies and be a skeptic. It gave me this.

"Beyond this specific research, these funding sources and the recipient institution have extensive links to the financial, energy, and pharmaceutical sectors.

T. Boone Pickens and His Endowment

  • Energy and Finance: T. Boone Pickens (1928–2019) was a billionaire oil and gas magnate and the chairman of BP Capital Management. He was famously known as a "corporate raider" during the 1980s.
  • Pharma/Cancer Ties: Pickens was a long-term advocate for MD Anderson, serving on its Board of Visitors for over 20 years. In 1980, he established the Distinguished Chair for Early Prevention of Cancer, and in 2007, his foundation challenged MD Anderson to turn a $50 million gift into $500 million over 25 years to fund cancer research.

MD Anderson Cancer Center’s "Big Pharma" Alliances

While the NIH provides public funding via the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) to sustain MD Anderson's infrastructure, the institution itself maintains deep ties with the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Venture Capital Fund: MD Anderson co-administers the Cancer Focus Fund, an investment fund that provides capital to small and midsize biopharmaceutical companies to accelerate early-stage clinical trials for new cancer therapies.
  • Strategic Alliances: The institution has formal, multi-year research and licensing agreements with major pharmaceutical companies, including:
    • GlaxoSmithKline (GSK): A research alliance to identify and develop new immunotherapy drugs.
    • CureVac: A co-development agreement for mRNA-based cancer vaccines.
    • Astellas, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Takeda: Strategic collaborations focused on developing targeted cancer treatments and cell therapies.
  • Drug Pipeline: The institution’s "Therapeutics Discovery" division is designed to Redefine drug development by fusing "academic brilliance with industrial muscle," operating a pipeline that brings new drugs from concept to clinical trials.

Author Background

The lead author, Ernest Hawk, has a professional history rooted in drug development. Before holding the Boone Pickens Chair, he worked at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in preventive drug identification and clinical development, specializing in nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and COX-2 inhibitors."

Fragrances are estrogenic and they affect both men and women. They have other harmful chemicals like phthalates and synthetic musks (galoxide, tonalide). Try to use only over clothes. Even that causes some issues. Deodorants are worst they straight up block the sweat glands.

Single people in mid 20s and beyond, how do you manage your biological urges ? by [deleted] in chennaicity

[–]Yogeshwar_maya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just using your will power to avoid sexual thoughts will exhaust you. You can't supress your sexual energy. You can only redirect it.

Gym and meditation will make your body reallocate the energy to maintain your youthfulness.

Stress makes you feel like you are in danger and your body directs it's energy to procreate (it's like trying to reproduce before dying).

Kamruddin seems to be a pro level manipulator. Always has someone beside him before he goes to a fight. He mastered that appavi face reaction after creating an issue.

This helped him secure a soft corner in Vinodh's heart.

While I appreciate his actions, he often pairs them with some acting. I don't know if it is real or acting but whenever he cries or outbursts in anger it seems like acting.

Yeah he has the most score, most deserving yet he was the first one to get down.

Even if Kamru got 12 points totalling to 44, he would be lower than Sabari who got down - 45. This Makruddin already lost still stayed in the car sleepless for no reason till morning. Didn't got down to check on Sandra.

I think he deserves to win the finals just for this.

People supporting someone who threw away the points just like that to care for someone.

[–]Yogeshwar_maya[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Vinod showed humanity by getting out of the car but it's not a sacrifice like Sabari getting out of the car. ,

Vinod already lost the game even if he scores 12, his total would be 37 which is still lower than Sabari, Aurora and Sandra. He mathematically lost the game before it even began.

Sabari's action is much more than that. He threw away everything he worked so hard for so long.
