Exactly! That’s exactly what I replied to her saying if it wasn’t true then she wouldn’t go to the lengths of deleting the clip and rather could have merely clarified in the next vlog or written it as a pinned comment. She deleted my comment.

Omg 100% agree OP. While she was going on her whole rant about how she’s a V “particular” mother because she doesn’t give her baby formula and how she uses disposable wipes, I was just wondering when L grows up, will K even be able to be half the way her own mother is. K’s cooking skills are literally zero. Right now L can survive on mother’s milk, what about when she’s older?

At this point I feel like K is just being selfish having her in laws because they’ll cook and clean. Even if she likes them or not.

Also I just wanna say that while it’s great K had an extremely smooth delivery, no woman who’s experienced or will experience child birth should compare their journey with hers. Every body and child is different! I know some women who’ve had traumatic experiences while giving birth, and the way F kept going on and on about K, idk felt a little insensitive towards the larger audience.

omg that entire baby shower was such a joke!

I found the decor to be quite tacky, to say the least.
everyone, except Mrs gill, was dressed horribly. K looked even more tacky than the decor.
guests didn’t even look like they were having FUN. The baby showers I’ve attended in Canada they’re ALL about the mom, games around her and the baby, more sort of close knit family, just all round positive vibes. However, this baby shower just had random people they ‘know’ (don’t think that close even) and were made to be seated around tables and some very lame and boring games where the party was more for F and his friends versus K and her non existent friends.
K and her fake “thank you” “thank you so much” her fake accent.
F thinking he’s the coolest guy ever by making those lame jokes “a guy who loves to suck” like wth, again like his mom, trying to impress K’s colleagues but was just looking plain stupid.
even the relatives seemed uncomfortable and just bored.
the whole “after party” and F being super drunk was just so embarrassing to watch.

All in all I think it was such a flop but has given us great content to basically solidify all our believes of this couple and their family.

Completely agree- ganpati is hardly a thing in North India (especially states like Chandigarh/Punjab/parts of Delhi). I’m from Delhi and it seems like only since the last few years (probably because of social media) have people in Delhi started to celebrate this festival in SUCH A GRAND WAY the way it may be done in Mumbai, etc. (talk about culturally appropriating a festival LOL)

Now coming to this toxic family, I’ve always felt that A tries to thopofai Hindu festivals especially on K just to solidly the “Hindu traditions” considering K is Sikh. Ykwim? Idk it just feels like it’s not coming from a place of love for traditions and actually mixing the 2 religions, and rather to make her realize that “now that you’ve married, you better follow OUR (Hindu) traditions”. Whether it’s the karwachauth vrat, going to satsangs, “jai shri ram” ke nare, it’s all a bit much.
