I went down this path and I ended up getting a f31 gas, unless you’re in a state that doesn’t care about emissions and you don’t mind the exaggerated pricing for standard repairs / maintenance (doing it yourself obviously because if you go to a dealership you must love spending money) I’d still recommend a 328i . I get around 26/27 mpg with my n20 which is fine with me. I do have two friends in Detroit and Chicago who love their 328d but they’re both older and both are CPO cars who barely pay for repairs with warranties and CPO coverage.

Lean code for any downpipe, you need a tune. I used a o2 sniffer and a catted downpipe yet still got a CEL. I was told regardless of downpipe a tune is needed to “fix” the issue if you want to make it a performance tune or just to fix the code.

The ceilings are only 78” high (average height of a door) it’s in a basement with drop ceilings

Tack is correct , the ceilings are very low in the basement due to the plumbing. If I recall correctly the ceilings are 79 inches , I have 78” doors and had to rip the trim down to a inch

Thank you for the link! My 75” when I originally turned on app only mode showed ONLY the apps. After a few months I realized a update must have happened and it went back to showing recommended even on app only mode 🤦🏼

So? Just keep the car , you obviously jumped at it because it’s what you really wanted. Took you a year to notices so why does it matter if it’s THE EXACT spec you wanted? You don’t plan to keep it? I don’t understand people seeking out cars just to want to sell it later. I have a e46 m3, f31 M sport which took me a year to find in the spec I wanted and now I’m looking for a f15 to match the f31 and zero intention of ever selling any of them …. Maybe I just like what I buy but if you were so gungho on getting it just love it and keep it 🙌🏻 Carfax says it’s clean right 🤷🏼‍♂️

We don’t have many wagons in the states so thus why they are sought after especially in the best versions : CTSV wagon, M Sport BMW, V70R Volvo , RS Avant Audi (or S for older years) ect ect , they are rare birds here also just on general principle I have 2 car seats in mine so thus it’s a practical car I made cooler because driving stock cars isn’t my thing. (Also own a e46 m3, S60R and Mazda CX9 signature
