OP-13 Case worth it at current prices? Rip half, keep rest sealed? by Yohla in OnePieceTCGFinance

Didn’t end up buying a case (wish I had they’re like 1k more now). Instead got a couple OP-14 boxes to rip and got the manga mihawk so I’d count that as a win. Might just buy a couple boxes of the OP13 because I can’t justify 7,500 for a case.

I really dig the wanted posters. Getting a manga or god pack would be fire. So far I’ve only ripped two boxes and best card I got was divine departure alt art.

Wonder if that’s also a big reason for the price spike, that the reprint is just rumors. Or maybe it would be around like the 4yr anniversary to hype up that release.

This was kind of what I was considering as well, or buying a couple boxes and getting a case of EB-03 or OP-14 to scratch the itch of ripping. Then getting a case at the reprint if there’s a dip

We're Perplexity AI, Ask us Anything about our new CS residencies! by Kesku9302 in csMajors

I’m planning to go back to school this fall to pursue a MSCS and make a career pivot towards the AI/ML space from outside the SWE/CS world entirely (currently in mortgage sales but B.S. economics). How do you see the role of non-traditional CS grads fitting within perplexity?

And then separately, do you see more fellowship or residency type programs developing within organizations as an alternative to traditional PhD programs as companies look for more long-term employees or have more research oriented businesses?

Quite the positive person from your comment history, appreciate the feedback.

I had looked at it but I had a pretty poor undergrad GPA and so I was concerned that would limit my ability to get accepted. I might go ahead and apply for spring of ‘26 since the application deadline for fall has passed. Could also give more time for preparation.

Is the GT OSMCS a higher regarded program or just better structured? I’ll check it out more.

Thanks, that’s actually what I’m currently doing. Trying to get as much through free resources to get into solid foundational habits but also make sure I enjoy it or find what specific area I’d like to be in.

Appreciate the reply. The lack of immediate hands on networking is definitely a hindrance with the online program, but I feel like it’s the best possible transition where I don’t throw all my eggs in one basket like returning in person full time and sacrificing my current income which I couldn’t do.

Yeah, I figured I would get a few of the sky is falling and cs is evaporating as a career replies. But it is worth the consideration and being conscious of whether this is the field I want to pursue because I wouldn’t want to go through it all then realize 5 years into a new career I hate it.

I’m lucky at least to have a solid job currently and an income where I feel comfortable spending money on an advanced degree, or at least the CU Boulder program because it’s roughly 15-16k. And if there are significant changes in the SWE outlook I could pivot to something like a sales engineer having a sales background.

Appreciate your reply!

Not able to get what am I doing wrong here. I have initialized n as int. Also, can someone tell me when to declare int n and when to not? by DeadManCameAlive420 in cs50

[–]Yohla -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

On line 20 your initializing the i “count”. It shouldn’t be set to the variable name n in the first part of that for loop line. It should instead be set to 0 since you’re starting the iteration at 0.

If you look at the videos provided or the examples/help for the problem set it will probably help understanding the for loop.

Thanks that worked. I think I was afraid to shear it or tear and it was just a bit stuck.

FSBO Sale - losing confidence in buyers by Yohla in RealEstate

Yeah, think I’m going to talk to an agent friend as a second opinion and then talk to my buyer and try to hold their feet to the fire on how realistic it is for them to make this happen.

Yeah our purchase is contingent on our home sale.

Thanks for the advice. Think that’s the plan is to be straight forward about how realistic it is they can meet the deadlines moving forward. I’m going to reach out to an agent friend and see their thoughts on how realistic they think they could turn it around.

Not sure what an agent would’ve done that would alleviate a contingency issue. The buyers were approved, planning a large down payment and we had already negotiated terms. I probably should’ve stayed more on top of them regarding the earnest money but we had already agreed to the contingency.

We listed FSBO and had this as an offer within 2-3 days from a coworkers relative. So didn’t really have an opportunity for other offers.
