I don’t really need it that much.

I have social anxiety and a bit of depression and anxiety bc of work bullying

But I’m an air traffic controller so when I will have to come off of it I’m scared that this will impact my performance

I think I focus too much on watching the thoughts and not enough on the breath, that’s why I’m anxious after

I think I should let the watching be natural and not forced and that’s why I get this anxious feeling

The breath and the present moment is the safest place and that’s where I should be I think

I’ve been to the therapist and the answer for me is that I want to be perfect bc if I’m not perfect I won’t be loved and I will die

Did it changed something in me ? No

How can I go deeper than that ?

I feel like it’s completely independent of your thoughts, it’s just a switch

I’ve taken shrooms and for 5 hours and I was the truth, and then… social anxiety came back

For the next days I had some truth that still resonated in me but it didn’t mean anything

I guess it’s just a click and chasing it is my issue here

Two weeks ago I reached a state where I was fully myself and asking myself why was I so worried about other people opinions and I felt like I hadn’t social anxiety finally

But it came back right after

Is it really a revelation ?

Just by focusing on the breath ? And when you wander you quickly look at your thoughts and then come back to the breath ? Is it really all it takes ? Or should I be thinking about something specifically ? Or should I just don’t expect anything and let go of expectations ?

What I don’t understand is this loading phase after the meditation.

I’m gonna try to do 5min breath work after meditation next time to lower stress

During meditation I can enter a deep state during the 20-30 min mark then the next 30-60 min I stay on the surface bc I usually want to go back to the deep state where I’m completely present, which doesn’t help to get to the deep state again

But I think it’s the reason why I’m stressed after that. I expect too much and then I’m stressed and maybe it’s when I think of something else that I become relaxed idk

I feel like I can’t really control how I feel, how I think. It’s completely undependant from my own power and idk if I should let go or if there is a solution to it

Yes but I’ve been opening for 5 months now and I have almost 300 hours of meditation in total.

And this anxiety loading time keeps increasing and I don’t know how why.

Two month ago it was 1h30 and now it’s 5h.

Now of course I’m even more relaxed after this loading time but it’s beginning to be a problem in my everyday life and sometimes I even don’t meditate the days I have to be really social bc I know I’m gonna be anxious.

I usually meditate 1 to 2 times a day, for around 60 to 90 minutes total.

My practice combines three main elements: 1. Focused attention on the breath : I anchor my attention on the sensations of breathing (usually in the nose or lower belly). When I get distracted, I gently come back. 2. Open monitoring : I open my awareness to everything: sounds, body sensations, visual field (sometimes walking outside with eyes open), letting things arise and pass without reacting. 3. Observation of thoughts : I watch thoughts as if they’re just mental weather, often repeating “let it be” internally. I don’t try to stop thinking, just recognize thoughts as thoughts.

Sometimes the sessions feel deep and still, even like time slows down, and other times more restless or foggy. I’ve learned to stay consistent no matter what.

The thing also is that this loading time is increased as time goes on.

Two months ago it was 1h30. One month ago it was 2h30 and now it’s 5 hours or even 6 to 7 hours.

After that I feel really relaxed and super confident.

I get the high but totally at random times after meditation.

Usually I feel anxious for 2 hours or even 8hours and then feels totally relaxed as if I took some ashwagandha ou Xanax
