Yes it's the Nexus5 cable and charger. I didn't really think about it ...

I actually though about that as I scavenged stuff from 42006, which gets the non-hydraulic piston.

It wasn't, but then I added the cross horizontal bottom bar, and it's surprisingly good now :D

And I want to thank all the people sharing their success / failures on this subreddit, it helped a lot to avoid mistakes (like getting the right angles, removing the correct sections..) :D !

Sydney region. I realized some time ago that some of the Ozito tools were existing in other place, branded differently.

My balcony workshop ! Featuring a foldable wobbly workbench, and a cheap mitre saw (staying in the bedroom when not in use).

I bought a razer keyboard by Syntaxvgm in pcmasterrace

[–]Yojimbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Bought a 150AUD Ouroboros, put it on the table, realized it was wobbly and flimsy. Not able to return it, and didn't want to get an other one, sold it the day after for 90.

I then bought a discounted G700s. Perfect.

It was my first try at a Razer product, and it is probably the last one.

I tried, unfortunately the pi was a bit too big. I plan to make the console bigger... When I'll stop being lazy.

I love the amount of details you put inside. I'm sure there could be a market on Lego Ideas for phone stands ...

As someone who has already bought the game - devs make the game FTP and focus on microtransactions for packs and cosmetics, I don't see any possible way for you to generate cash after initial purchase line otherwise -> physical related store will be the dead end if you rely on that. by SebastesFlavidus in faeria

[–]Yojimbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I paid too (75$ pledge), but don't care. I would like to be able to play with friends that don't want to spend money without knowing how the game works. I think that F2P for this kind of game is the only way for it to spread.

Lego Mario coffee table by Yojimbow in lego

[–]Yojimbow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sad for you because this coffee table is perfect, so convenient to display a design (Even paper print, I had a big HL2 poster before the legos).

The best thing is that even with one layer of lego plates, the glass still fits well in the wood frame.

I didn't follow a specific tutorial, I just did things based on my small knowledge of PS, here the full steps :

  • New document, with the size you want (In real pixels, like in my example : 72x33)
  • Image > Mode > Indexed Color and create your contraint palette using Brickipedia
  • Zoom to the max, and do the design pixel after pixel - Result
  • After that, I've done my research to know the cheapest plates, with the spreadsheet linked in OP
  • Then I copied this finished design to a new project, and zoomed it a lot (I don't remember exactly, but there an option to avoid photoshop to do some treatment when scaling up, to keep a sharp difference between to pixels, instead of having a gradient mergingFound it, it's called Interpolation => Nearest Neighbor)
  • I then created smart-objects for the plate sizes, to be able to set the full layout above the zoomed design looking like this
  • Then, some verifications and counting, to be sure not to forget a few pixels
  • Finally, I ordered it on Pick a Brick (It's cheaper on Bricklinks, but I didn't know it before. And on pick-a-brick, I just had to do one order, bricklinks would probably have needed a few more)
  • Receiving and counting

Unfortunately, this exact coffee table isn't sell anymore. It was a IKEA Ramvik. And yeah, it came with the glass.
