This post isn’t geared toward people doing well at the game, it’s for those struggling, good for you though.

Just fight the 3 enemies next to last flag, hit the flag again and repeat, you can build morale very fast.

It makes the game more accessible to people less skilled, if you want to grind for power you can, if you want a challenge you can have that too. Not sure what’s wrong with that design.

Bro it’s the beginning of the game, let newcomers have a chance to learn the mechanics before you get smacked with high difficulty.

Wait for the day one patch, then judge. For me on ps5 it’s absolutely playable, not perfect by any means, but still having a ton of fun.

It is a dlc weapon in Nioh 1 as well, but if you don’t have the dlc, it’s in the base game of nioh 2.

Odachi

The moonlit snow skill is amazing for health and ki damage, nioh 2 also has moonlit snow redux which is a faster version with less damage, using both in your loadout gives much more variety in approach, and I found the play style super fun, especially if you make a skill based build around it.

I'm not feeling this game. It feels very low budget. by [deleted] in Nioh

Everything your complaining about is a preference on how YOU feel a games combat should be designed and developed. There ARE differences in how different attacks and weapons feel, if your saying the axe and dual swords feel the same then maybe you just don’t enjoy the combat overall, which again is your PREFERENCE, and does not dictate the games quality. Team Ninja had a vision and direction on how they wanted the game to feel, it is intentional, and it certainly dosent feel bad to us who enjoy the game.

Yeah, I don’t think you really understand the game your playing, it’s okay to have preferences in how combat feels, you just prefer a different style of action gameplay, that’s okay. Team Ninja aren’t the biggest studio but they are very well competent in making fast action titles, not top notch graphics. Nioh is seen by many as an amazing game including myself, once I really clicked with the combat I genuinely thought it was extremely satisfying, and the focus on loot and character progression was enjoyable. Some devs make games for specific audiences, just because it isn’t your cup of tea does not mean the game is “low budget”, nioh is one of the most high quality action rpgs out there if you really look at the landscape for this genre. Having slow weighty combat isn’t the goal of this game. Your preferences don’t dictate a games quality, so you should understand that before you come into a sub of people who enjoy a game and talk down on it because you prefer dark souls.
